    Good Morning Vasili,
    Thank you for sticking with me through this as we figure what’s going on with my cart. I did what you suggested (CTRL + Shift + J) and I have two warnings or errors that popup.

    Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Use defaultPrevented instead. notes-widget.min.js:2:0

    This site makes use of a SHA-1 Certificate; it’s recommended you use certificates with signature algorithms that use hash functions stronger than SHA-1.[Learn More]

    Do either one of these have something to do with the shopping cart not working? I’m unfamiliar with error coding and such, so I have no idea what I’m looking at with these two warnings.

    Also, I wanted to remind you that my shopping cart works fine if I’m logged into WordPress as a user. The cart updates flawlessly. So just when a guest checks out is when the cart doesn’t work properly.

    I don’t have any WooCommerce plugins activated or installed on my website. I assume the author would be “WooCommerce.”

    You mentioned it could be a jQuery problem. How can I determine if it has something to do with that?

    Yes, this thread is still open, I accidentally posted twice.

    Vasili, do you just need the link to my website?

    If you need some other example link, please explain.

    Good Morning Vasili!
    Yes, I have looked at that plugin in the past, but I feel that using an advanced search menu on my website is the best thing for my website. So far, I haven’t found anything that can do this for me and is compatible with Jigoshop, which is kind of frustrating because I know many websites have wonderful search result filtering. I’ve looked into the a WooCommerce AJAX navigation plugin, but it’s not compatible with Jigoshop, of course.

    At this point, I’m open to any suggestions, free or paid. I just need to figure out how to make my site more easily searchable, because I’m getting angry customers who type items into my website using our search menu and are coming back with empty results.

    Thank you very much for the suggestion!

    I would like to add that I tried installing the YITH WooCommerce Ajax plugin, but it only works with WooCommerce….which is what I thought, but figured I’d give it a try….

    Nevermind, I activated the plugin and realized it is only compatible with WooCommerce.

    Thank you for that help, I was able to successfully find a file called searchform.php for my theme…..and here is the code for the file:

    <form role=”search” method=”get” id=”searchform” action=”<?php echo home_url( ‘/’ ); ?>”>
    <div><label class=”screen-reader-text” for=”s”><?php echo apply_filters( ‘yiw_searchform_label’, __( ‘Search for:’, ‘yiw’ ) ) ?></label>
    <input type=”text” value=”<?php the_search_query(); ?>” name=”s” id=”s” />
    <input type=”submit” id=”searchsubmit” value=”<?php echo apply_filters( ‘yiw_searchform_submit_label’, __( ‘Search’, ‘yiw’ ) ) ?>” />
    <input type=”hidden” name=”post_type” value=”<?php echo apply_filters( ‘yiw_searchform_post_type’, ‘post’ ) ?>” />
    </div>
    </form>

    In a help article, it mentioned, “See if there’s a call to query_posts() and if there is, comment it out. In most cases that is enough to fix the problem.” I don’t know what I’m looking for in the code above to comment out. I see something for search query() but don’t know what to delete. Could anyone offer me some help? I appreciate any help! Thank you!

    Never mind. I de-activated the plugin and reactivated it. After re-activation, I reconnected to wordpress and all is good! Hopefully this helps someone else.

    Hi Olaf: The owners of our website are very cautious about who we allow to access the inner workings of our website (we’ve had hackers in the past). And I’m sure you are a trusted individual, but I think I will stand by and wait to see if this issue gets resolved with ozdecor’s site. I will do some research on my end to see if I can solve the issue on my own. If you happen to fix ozdecor’s site, then I’ll talk to the owners to see if they will allow you access to our ftp and wordpress. Also, if this problem gets fixed, can you update this feed with a description of what you did to fix the issue?

    Thanks for your prompt reply! Yes, I mean www.ads-software.com. I’m happy to hear this is on “the list” and I’m sure it is a big project to tackle.

    Hello Olaf, I’m having this very same issue and I understand this ticket has been resolved, but I’m still having problems after following the guidelines in the provided link for WP Super Cache. I have a question about the following rule we are supposed to follow:

    “We will want to list the following pages in the text box and be sure to NOT add a forward slash to the end of them:”

    Why shouldn’t I add a forward slash to the end of my pages I want the caching plugin to exclude from caching?

    And lastly, is there anything else I should look into since my issue has not been resolved after following these guidelines? Should I check with my hosting provider to see if they have caching restrictions placed on my cart and checkout pages which are causing these issues?

    Hi There! I’m having this very same issue. I customer called our store over the weekend. This is what she said what happening. When she added something to her cart, the cart wouldn’t update. You have to actually go to the cart page to see the product that was added. And for some reason, on the cart page, you cannot delete items that have been added. I tried this method on the computer I use to edit the website and everything runs perfectly on my computer….which is probably why I didn’t catch this sooner. I used a different computer in the office and it was having the same issues the lady who called in was having. So I will be watching this forum to see if the issue is gets solved, because I am having the same problem you are. If there is any information I can provide on my end, just let me know.

    I noticed after doing some research, that the Jigoshop-Delivery Notes plugin that I have installed may be old and no longer gets updated. Would someone suggest I buy the “Jigoshop PDF Invoices” plugin for $49.00?

    (@dickey1)

    I fixed it! I just wanted to let you know that i went ahead and made the update i needed for jigoshop (1.9.3.1) and now it works…apparently whatever version 1.9.3.1 had updated fixed the problem. I can now go in and checkout without a problem. I’m sorry for all the troubles but am relieved i have fixed the problem.

    I will update this feed and let you know if I have problems again.
