Figured out a quicker workaround.

1. Write the content
2. Add links
3. Apply Heading style

It seems to muck things up if you try and add the link after you have applied the heading style.

Just to say the same is happening to my sites – over 20 updated so far.
Switching themes doesn’t make any difference nor does turning plugins off. I’m going to try on a new default install to see if the problem is present.

Just to give you some background to the problem – when I updated the plugin it initially created an error which I stupidly ignored and just tried again. The second time it seemed to install fine but the content blocks editing windows had dissappeared and the data from them had been moved into custom fields. The site still worked fine on the front end so I didn’t notice until I tried to add a new post a day later.

Can I safely delete the custom fields that were created now or just leave them?

Had a similar problem saving but solved it by creating a ‘doodls’ folder in the ‘uploads’ folder with correct permissions. This is where the plugin is trying to save the files.

I need to work out how to solve this on a WPMU site now!! Or if you can tell me where the code is that sets this directory I can change it there.

Same issue here though it only happens on some old posts – really old posts and any new posts are fine. Pages are also fine. I recreated the posts that weren’t working and all is fine now.

Same problem when I upgraded. I have reverted back to 1.5.2 for now until this is addressed. I am using a feed from Google Calendars if this is relevant.

Solved it by installing the timezone plugin. Should of RTFM properly!!!

I am just in the first stages of setting up that site which is why it doesn’t validate yet and just changed the theme once.

I will try it on a fresh install with the default theme, though I tried this before and it still didn’t work. I think it’s something to do with my hosting account so will play around with that.

I can change the memory settings if you let me know what I should be changing

Oddly it isn’t displaying the html comment anymore but still stopping halfway. Also when I tried to use the widget it would activate it but it wouldn’t list it under the widgets being used so I couldn’t see or change any options.

WordPress version is 2.7.1 and yours is the only plugin running at the moment. I have used other ical plugins in the past with no problems but would like to use yours as it seems a lot more flexible in diplaying the data.

I do lots of school sites and have them using Google calendars to organise their events. One feed is https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/l49gvn5k8rjqjt5hp2tjdv9mk0%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

I tried it in your demo area and it worked so it’s obviously a problem with my setup. I initially had an error when installing and had to change my server settings to use PHP 5. Could it be a php setting I need to change/check?

I had the same problem (WordPress 2.6.2 and Wordtube 2.0.) but upgraded NextGEN and everything is now good.
