In reply to: Lost DashboardHello Timothy
I have noticed when looking at my wp-config file that I still have the original Authentication Unique Keys and Salts – these contain the details of an old domain name I used to create the site and have since changed!! Could this be the problem and could I change the domain name to the existing without causing a problem with the site. The old keys are pointing to dordogneholidayrental.com and the new site now resides under hotel-et-Dordogne.com.
Regards

In reply to: Lost DashboardI have taken all the question marks off the last 9 in the list and I am now getting the following message when I try to login:-
“You attempted to access the “Thiviers Hotel” dashboard, but you do not currently have privileges on this site. If you believe you should be able to access the “Thiviers Hotel” dashboard, please contact your network administrator.”

In reply to: No dashboardI have just changed he wp debug to true in the config file and tried to logon again. Now I am getting:-
You attempted to access the “” dashboard, but you do not currently have privileges on this site. If you believe you should be able to access the “” dashboard, please contact your network administrator.
How do I change the privileges with no dashboard?
Many thanks

In reply to: No dashboardHi Esmi
Yes I have done all of the above with the help of my hosts, everything had now moved to a new server. I have manually installed wordfence. Not sure where to look next!

In reply to: No dashboardHello
Thank you for your quick reply. I installed from the backup and my website is up and running it is just the dashboard items that are missing. Because of the hack I deleted the user and added new through the database.I have reinstalled the files as suggested on this forum. Everything is working but the dashboard. This is a multisite – not sure where to go from here.
Thanks
Linda

In reply to: [Suffusion] [Theme: Suffusion] Out of memory problemsHi Esmi
Here is the response from my hosts:-
Purchasing more memory isn’t the solution to this problem. It just means it will take a while longer for the virtual machine to run out of memory again. The error /home/dordogne/public_html/Blog/wp-includes/class-simplepie.php on line 5426 suggests the code is not optimised thus consuming your system resources.
It may be worth looking at the code to see what is wrong, eg incomplete loops or invalid variables. Have you raised this as an issue with the theme developer?
Will try changing the theme.

Interesting after reading the posts regarding suffusion problems!!

In reply to: Problems with SuffusionI was extremely happy with suffusion but since the latest update if WP I have experienced many problems:-
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/hoteletd/public_html/wp-admin/menu.php on line 18
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/hoteletd/public_html/wp-admin/menu.php on line 67
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/hoteletd/public_html/wp-admin/menu.php:18) in /home/hoteletd/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 881
and also see other posts by me in the last 7 days which no one has replied to (possibly my fault for posting in the wrong area)Most of the problems appear to be memory but I have a VPS and have increased the memory limit to the max and also just purchased more. This has not resolved the issue. I have followed the instructions given on my previous post ans this still has not resolved the issues.
I would like to retain suffusion if I can overcome the problems, but if not I am looking for an alternative.
Many thanks for any help
LindaMy knowledge of WP is very limited and I am now finding suffusion too complex to administer on my multisite.

In reply to: Warning problem when trying to update sitesI have just checked my error log and see the following since May 2012:-
PHP Catchable fatal error: Method WP_HTML_Compression::__toString() must return a string value in /home/hoteletd/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3335
Not sure what this mean, can anyone help?
