    as I understand you, are you trying to edit a template file directly – or am I misunderstanding you?

    Code Snippets is a plugin that allows you to create custom php code as code blocks and to enable, disable, export and import as needed.

    do you have a theme template that you want to edit and are you working with a child theme?

    Hello mndpsingh,

    I translated the theme.editor.pot with POEDIT into German (theme-editor-de_DE.po and theme-editor-de_DE.mo) and uploaded it to the folder /wp-content/languages/plugins – the translation works and is displayed in the backend. My consideration is what happens when the plugin is updated? I basically work with a child-theme and look for a way to integrate the language file over the child-theme so that no updates are lost during updates. There are many instructions in the WWW but I can not get the right integration. Maybe you have an idea for that?
