Support of Signal is appreciated to me too.
Also gab.com ! Best would be to enable free configurable extensions (buttons and links).

Got the same problem with Magee Shortcodes. For example the statistics widget of Jetpacks will no longer be visualized as long as Magee Shortcodes is activated.
Installing https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper as a workaround it works fine, but with the warning in the backend as described in the post above.
It looks like Magee Shortcodes relied on the jQuery Migrate Helper library, which was removed in WordPress v5.5.

With the Firefox workaround (after 1 min freezing there is a yellow hint from Firefox: Wait or Interrupt – I interrupted and the screen styed visable and editable, only in txt view, not WYSIWYG) I was able to edit the content of Responsive Accordions.
By this I deleted all content of the accordion I edited at last time. No improvement. Still the editor freezes completey.
In the status line I saw some internet connections successfully before the screen freezed to wpshopmart.com/plugins/accordion-pro and ps.w.org

If needed I can send a backup of the plugin-export or any other infos for support.
    My website is https://www.ungeborene.de

One more thing I found out now:
With Firefox I can stop the loading of the page, as after some time firefox askes for that. Then I can click and work with all buttons except WYSIG editor button of an accordion. After editin the text version of an accordion I was able to save it, this worked fine as a small workaround.
With Chrome all this is not possible: I can’t stop the loading of the page. When Chrome askes me after some time what to do (as the page doesn’t give response), I click to leave the page – then the page is left indeed. Then loading again results in the same loop (freezing).

    Hi,

    I got the same problem.
In the WordPress backend I just can open the list of existing accordions, but always if I select one in order to edit it, the browser hangs, I can’t even scroll the screen (only this is still possible with Firefox), and can’t select any other button of the backend. I have to close the tab and browse again to the backend page.
The only movement is a circle turning around the favicon rotating on the browser.

I purged all cache, I deinstalled Responsive Accordion and reinstalled it – always the same. I can no longer edit any of the accordions.
I’m using Chrome on a PC with Win7Prof 64-bit, but same effect occurs on Firefox.
How can I remove the content of Responsive Accordion after deinstalling the plugin? Each time when I reinstalled the plugin I got the previous content back again. I’m wondering whether there is the problem in this content. Therefore I exported the content of the plugin in a xml-File (in order to re-import it after I get a clean reinstallation..).
Or incompatibility with another plugin / theme?
