In reply to: [Health Check & Troubleshooting] ‘Site Health Issues’ in menu barIt’s the admin bar at the top when you are editing. It’s a ul with li ids for various things. I’m using classic if that makes a difference. I’m also wondering if the plugin stopbadbots is adding thie to the menu bar unbidden. Do you use that plugin?

In reply to: [Health Check & Troubleshooting] ‘Site Health Issues’ in menu barSorry – doesn’t work! It’s in the wpadminbar and the li id is wp-admin-bar-site-health
I’ve tried everything with no success.
I can use a browser extensionn to override css with#wp-admin-bar-site-health {display:none;}
but I’d rather do it at source.Ah well… if you ever do find a way that would be great! Thanks!
Using phpmyadmin I got the table back. Can’t remember how unfortunately.
If I dropped the table, rolled back to a previous version then updated it back to the current version; would that remake the table?
Thanks for the information. But what is the benefit of masking compared to denial? Is a masked page simply blank? I don’t get it!
@kzeni – it’s complicated. Turns out the root version was different to the public html version – a difference I was not aware of. I think one was 7.4 and the other 8.0 but can’t remember which was which. I updated both to 8.1 and I might have done something else but I can’t remember now. I’m working on multiple other issues at the same time!
Also I updated WP itself the same day. So many interactions are possible with such complicated systems.I’ve updated the php versions for the site and the visitor log is working now!
Thanks for the info. I won’t try and restore the tables as it’s not really worth the trouble.
I’ve checked/repaired the visitors log table in phpmyadmin and it appears to be ok. I can live without the Visits Log!I’ve updated to 10.13 (though it strangely went to 10.12 first from 10.11 causing a freeze) and now the previous bots table has been reset, including any deactivations and presumable any bots I’ve added. Where is the table located? Can I get it back?
Also the Visits Log isn’t working. Error message appears: Unexpected error. Please, try again later.@kzeni I didn’t even know an ‘advanced’ option existed! Anyway the rollback plugin which has saved us many a time can’t find them!
