That’s good to hear. I’ll keep an eye on my mobile, thanks for letting me know the code looks okay. Thanks for sharing the performance screenshot too, I hadn’t seen that until now!
Awesome thanks again!
??
Hey James,
Thanks again for your help.
I have installed the AMP plugin. However, the AMP ads setup looks like I need to program, shame they haven’t got a plugin I can install.
Thanks for all your help.

ChristianHey James,
Thanks again for your help with this.
Interesting to hear about the AdSense new preview feature, is this within Google AdSense itself, rather than within your plugin?
I have thought about using an AMP plugin before, however, I was put off because I heard that the plugin strips the site (including email capture forms). Have you heard this too?
Thanks for the link by the way.
Hi James,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, it is the AdSense feature that killing my site’s loading speed etc. I have the ‘Ad Load’ setting set to the minimum within my Google AdSense account. However, the setting doesn’t actually seem to make any difference to the number of ads that display on my site. Does this setting actually work with your plugin?
Is there anything I can do to keep some ads running via your plugin and get better loading speeds etc.?
Thanks,
ChristianHi,
I’m using the latest version of the plugin (Version 1.3.1) and it is still killing my site’s speed and performance.
My site scores AA on GTMetrix (WITHOUT The Plugin Activate).
Here’s the proof
https://gtmetrix.com/reports/digitalentrepreneur.tools/wZikqnu3
With the plugin activated, the site’s score is BD on GTMetrix

Are you able to speed this plugin up?

ChristianHi Renee,
Thanks for your message, I missed your previous message.
I still experiencing slow loading times.
When is the next update planned for?
Regards,
ChristianHey Renee,
Thanks for the update.
With regards to the latest plugin update, all I can say is the all images on the homepage were missing. I didn’t see any error message. I didn’t notice any other issues either.
Sorry I can be any more help.
Best,
Christian.I’ve managed to restore a backup of my site now which uses version 1.1.3 so I have turned the plugin on again, but not the ads.
Regards,
Christian.Hi,
The latest update has broken my site.
It’s stripping out the images on the homepage.
It’s deactivated for now.
Regards,
Christian.Hi Renee,
Is there any update from your team?
If I can speed up the site, I’ll just turn off the ads for now.
I did see an update for the plugin since we last spoke, which I’ve done, it has made some difference for the better, but unfortunately, not enough to keep ads on at the moment.
I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Thanks,
Christian.Hi Renee,
Thanks for your reply.
Just to let you know, I now have the ‘Ad Load’ setting completely set to (Min.)
But unfortunately, I’m still getting a terrible GTMetrix score, as seen below.

Hi Renee,
Thanks for getting back to me.
The link below it for the default ad load setting
https://gtmetrix.com/reports/digitalentrepreneur.tools/pqAQJH0q
The next is with the adjusted ad load setting. Roughly set to 1/4
https://gtmetrix.com/reports/digitalentrepreneur.tools/3YhhOmjr
and the last link shows the score with Site Kit still activated, however, auto ads off
https://gtmetrix.com/reports/digitalentrepreneur.tools/hR62XpSF
As you’ll see the ads are killing my site speed MASSIVELY.
Can anything else be done to fix this major issue?
Thanks,
Christian.Hi, I would like to add text to my Gutenberg buttons. Do I need to add the above code to do this? Surely not. Maybe I have a plugin conflict that’s stopping me adding button text? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Update!
I’ve just deactivated all my plugins and still, I cannot figure out how to edit the button text…
Am I missing something?
Or is this a Gutenberg bug?
Thanks
