That error is seems odd to me because LivePress doesn’t call anything in capabilities.php which leads me to believe the problem is elsewhere.

Furthermore, you may want to upgrade wordpress. I have not done any testing with the plugin in older versions of wordpress.

thanks for this hack. I had not started working on getting Cyrillic character support into LP. I’ll get this into the the official LivePress release once I get a chance to test it for myself.

First we’re trying to resolve the latest issue caused by this plugin making too many connections to LJ.

You’re welcome. It has been that way since before I took over its maintenance, actually. You could make it automatic if you wanted, but it will not batch-crosspost.

Just finished testing livepress with wp 2.6.3.

It continued working right after the upgrade. I also deactivated, deleted, removed from options table, and then reinstalled LP on wp 2.6.3 and found no issues.

If you are still seeing a problem, please post on the livepress forum as much detail as you can and I’ll work with you to resolve whatever problem you’re having.

You would only be able to select user pics that you have defined on livejournal.com. Pictures that you insert into the post, of course, should also show up on your LJ post when cross posting.

yes, I adding Cyrillic language support is on the list. It is in the top 3.

I haven’t tested it against 2.6.3 yet. Will do this week.

good question. I like to think of that option like the mysterious light switch in the house that makes ou want to rip the wall open to see what its connected to..

That is.. after I release 2.1 and the bug reports slow down, I will be putting my attention on that as well as some other mystery options like ‘guess mood’. ??

Hi there, I have been making code changes to Live+press recently to suit my personal needs including what you described wanting to do here.

My version of Live+Press will auto post to livejournal any entries I make using my cell phone or email. This might be what you’re looking for.

Take a look at Live+Press. It’s not supported but I updated the plugin for my own use and put it up on my site so anyone can grab it from there.
