I am checking cross-browser compatibility of my website. I tested in IE11 and it worked fine. But it’s better if my website can be displayed correctly in older browsers. Do you have any suggestions?

While I test my website in Internet Explorer 8, my logo is stretched and the header image displays incorrectly. Here is the screenshot of my webpage header while using IE8:

I want to ask which codes or plugins can be applied to add static text on the parallax headline image like this: link. Could you recommend me some suggestions? I have tried some plugins but it is not as I wanted it to be.
