Please help with the same matter. I have wordPress on my local machine. I went through all process to have a buddyPress like website (community Portal). The matter is that the buddyPress top-left (Activity , Groups, Members …) menu is not working. It links respectively to folder activity , groups, members in the WP main directory. When i copy those folder in the WP main directory from the bp-themes folder and click on the menu activity which is supposed to take me to the activity page like here : https://sandspointacademy.com/activity/
i get this message : Call to undefined function get_header() in /Users/kakou/Sites/wordpress+/activity/index.php on line 1
and also when i look at this website i guess the activity folder is part of the main directory.
