Hi there,

I had this same problem. Then I remembered there was this announcement. You can download the classic editor plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/classic-editor/). Install it and all your problems go away. It disables the Gutenberg editor that comes with WP 5.0.

I already run a multisite network… It’s quite the workaround if you plan to use the multisite just for translations, there has to be another option, right? I have a question though. Which theme are you using?

That didn’t work for me. My site won’t load. Also, when I add the new language, there isn’t a way to relink the translated pages. All my pages are now seen as if they’re all stand-alone pages.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi there,

I’m having the same issue. I created a subdomain, installed multisite as should, added the codes for wp-config and .htaccess. My main site is working fine, The new one can’t be accessed and the “home” page is some standard page my host provided.

@haukek, what top menu are you referring to? I can’t find the create new blog entry option. I’d like to see if your option will solve my issue too.
