In reply to: *sighs* PermalinksFirst off, I’m sure you have
mod_rewrite
on. But, you need to scroll down in thehttpd.conf
and change the AllowOverride option toAll
. This should work, if not, tell me.Forum: Everything else WordPress

In reply to: Anyone care to help with br tags?— What? That looks like a line break. You have to do double
<br>
to have a line between. It’s always been that way.Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: RSS CluelessGenerally, you can use the
?feed=rss2
at the end of your blog address, but for people with FireFox, or other RSS enabled browsers, I’d recommend you include a<link>
tag for that.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Collapsing Categories…If possible, I’d like as little hackage to WordPress as possible for this one.

In reply to: Collapsing Categories…Thanks, I’ve used it and it works, but my gripe about it is that you must refresh the entire page to expand them.

In reply to: Blank pages in WordPress 2.0Well, I’d be damned if thats true, because it must be the way BSD handles it. The only things I can tell you is that:
PHP 4.4 may have a bug in it,
WordPress may have a bug in it,
BSD might not like something PHP is doing.I use PHP 4.3 myself, so I’m not really sure what else to tell you. I see no references back to the file in the error so… I’m really outta of ideas here chap.

In reply to: Blank pages in WordPress 2.0I’m pretty sure this goes beyond the scope of the WordPress forums, but you may want to ask the guys over at php.net if you can’t fix the problem through the help here, personally, I can only give you assumptions at this time, as I run a Windows Apache server, and never saw anything quite like this before.

In reply to: Blank pages in WordPress 2.0Something tells me that your PHP install isn’t working as it should since that should REALLY never happen, and extensive documentation for BSD comes in around six pounds ( of weight ).

In reply to: Blank Content Pages (index.php and admin are fine)So, it’s a completely fresh install right, the entire installation of the previous WordPress is gone, correct?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Blank Content Pages (index.php and admin are fine)If that’s occuring it ( your server ) probably doesn’t have
mod_rewrite
enabled, so do remove that, as it won’t be helping much.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Googlebot not spidering my blogIf I remember anything, I don’t think you honestly need the
.gz
file, because it’s the same thing, but g-zipped.You do it from the wp-admin area, Link Categories, you’ll have to rename it.

In reply to: Mod Rewrite Problems…It does work, for instance, look at my example:
https://liquidity.dnsalias.net/static/clickAnd the rest of the site is permalink enabled, but I’m using the EzStatic plugin, so thats why it may work for me.
