we should have the option to set keyphrase of our needs. So rank math gave the option to auto set keyphrase the tags or the post tittle. So should you, who will ever have time to manually set keyphrase for EVERY post is just unacceptable

Hello, it did worked better, for a 5GB Database I only had the “PHP Fatal error: Out of memory” once per day.

When i tried to empty old posts and clear Database to only 400MB the error never returned for a third day in a row now. Lets hope as the DB grows, not to return. Do you have any suggestion of what version Php should work better with this plugin?

Also because v4.7.4 of this plugin doesnt clear some categories posts, i have kept v4.7.2 as it purgs flawlesly related post and categories after update

So when I have the option clear all cache ebabled in the plugin it is working, but my website is not really cached, just the latest posts only. Is there any option to stall the caching for a bit until the crawling jobs to finish?

Also in the logs i can see the below the name “scrape”, do you think this is an issue? I tried to bypass it in the plugin via *scrape* etc but it didnt worked. The ONLY way to get back into the scrape plugin page it to clear ALL the cache!

No I am not using anything, failcache or preloader all disabled.

The only thing I have enabled is Purge cache for related pages only – (recommended) and i still having the out of memory error.

Now that I changed to purge whole cache the error stops appearing. I enabled the preloader just to check it and still no errors! Seems like the errors only exists when caching is kept at Cloudflare servers, that its very strange because I haven’t change anything in the settings or the VPS configuration except php v8.1!

No the memory allocated was 4GB in php only, server has 16GB Ram. define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘4048M’);

Now i have the caching plugin disabled for 4-5 days and my php logs are clear of out of memory errors, if I enabled it again probably the errors will return.

Thanks for your suggestions and your effort to resolve this issue. When I had the caching plugin enabled and active, I had 4GB RAM allocated to this WordPress installation directly just to be sure it wasn’t a Ram issue.

Before that I made sure that i cleaned all cache directly via cloudflare and via plugin purge and then kept the plugin enabled. After 12-24 hours the issue returned which made me think that maybe a RAM bleeding issue happens between those 2 plugins (your caching and scraping)

Now i have the caching plugin inactive and disabled, and this is my third day testing it like this, without Out of memory issues in the PHP error logging. My current RAM allocated is 256MB! This is very strange because i didn’t had any issues before in PHP 7.4 and I contact the Developer of Octolooks plugin to report possible issues with PHP 8.1 but he cannot reproduce the issue.

Also 4 days now I don’t have any errors in PHP logging with only scraping plugin enabled so I don’t know what else to do!

I put your options but its not working. I cannot even access the backend of WordPress. The only thing i can do to access it, is to clear the whole cache from https://www.cloudflare.com/ website or to disable the Super Page Cache for Cloudflare plugin from ftp client by renaming it.

With previous VPS and php 7.4 i didn’t had these errors only when i moved to php8.1

I am back to this issue since i have discovered that until v 4.7.2, when setting option Purge cache for related pages only –?(recommended) in on, I had my subcategories cached cleared with fresh content each time fresh content appeared.

But from version 4.7.3 this never happens. For example in new content appears in subcategory /category/football/diethni/agglia/ when I checked back at Category /category/football/diethni/ I could not see the new posts even if i waited for hours.

This is not the case in 4.7.2 i can see new posts in subcategory /category/football/diethni/ after a while.

But I still cannot see any new post in Parent category /category/football/ in any version so I added this Category to the Prevent the following URIs to be cached to get rid of the issue.

I think the latest version cannot handle clear caching in sub-categories and its something that should be examined by the dev team.

Sorry I dont have time to check all the logs again, the problem is in both websites when i upgrade to the latest version, clear caching doesn’t work on new post or post update as it worked in 4.7.2 !

To tackle the problem i found an older version of your plugin in the web v4.6.1, and now its working fine in both Production websites.

So please give me a link to 4.7.2 to be close to the latest version!

I don’t see how it is not however, because Cloudflare cache is now working but false data have been sent to purge.

And now after 2-3 hours some Categories were purged without me doing anything! So the intermediate must be the plugin.

If needed I can provide WordPress access because there is a change to discover a bug or something!

I am using the preloader to check the post category updates, I send you what I saw in logs, the new posts appears in homepage but not in Categories.
The difference between my 2 domains is:

1. in the first I can see in the logs the full path of the post WITH the category
2. In the second in the new posts (majority) I only see https://****.gr/uncategorized/post_name

That is why Categories are not getting updated!
I ‘ve tried to change the default Post Category in WordPress Writing settings but I have the same issue in logs, meaning I cannot see the correct post category but now instead of /uncategorized I see /nealive

The result is not different even if I use preloader or not.

The issue I have is that in the website for example we have this post

but in the logs I see this one:

For some reason it puts some posts in uncategorized value of categories (even though they do have a category) that is why its not clearing the correct categories, instead its clearing the uncategorized

Do you have any clue about this one?
