Would it be an option to schedule the mail to be send later on again if the first attempt failed?
Maybe you could add two parameters for this
– number of attempts to send mail
– number of hours between attempts
I find it a pity if a user hasn’t been informed about comments on his picture.

after posting a new comment I still have the wppa_cleanup_index message and 8.3 is back to locked.

So far I managed to get VIII A 8.3 – clean index back to normal.
I don’t know if it is linked with the actions I took, but I did the following
– VIII A 2 – backup settings
– after this I could see the start button again after 8.3 and I clicked on it
– status changed to working and after half a minute changed to “error on server”
– then I re-initialized the plugin (VIII A 1) after which I had again the start button after 8.3
– I clicked on the start button and after a couple of seconds the status changed to ready
– VIII A 8.2 is still locked however

Addendum: the text about the wppa_cleanup_index only appears after a comment has been posted.

Can I use qtranslate to display “Number of contributors” and “Number of photos” in any language?
If that is the case then it perfectly fits my needs.

Thanks for releasing 6.6.06 with this extra option.
This ticket can be closed now as my issue is completely solved.

I have tried the 3rd, 4th and 5th option from the link type in combination with “will be auto created” and the “current picture page” for link page but the result remains the same.
As there is no difference at all, I wonder if this setting is ignored for some reason.

Setting table I-A4 to 0 solved the problem indeed.
Only strange that for one category it was displyaing “View 1 photo” and for another category it didn’t.

I can now display the counts exactly as I want.

There is only a minor esthectic issue.
If you go to my website (https://photona.org), select the tab “list of species” and scroll down a little bit, you will see the category “Echinoderms (1)” and the view text is “View 1 photo” (which is correct).
If you scroll down a little bit further, you will see the category “Fishes (1)” but here the view text “View 1 photo” is not displayed.
Not a big issue, but I just wanted to mention it.
