ok, I see the problem.

My home_url is https://photona.org. I have no www prefix in my hostname.

Conversion is done. It was not that much work.
Even if I may mix the methods, I prefer to have it clean.

I always upload the photos via the upload photo widget.

First I deleted an old photo after which the counter was 103 (correct) when I was not logged in, logged in as the owner or logged in as admin.

Then I added that photo again and the counter remained 103 when I was not logged in or logged in as admin. Only when logged in as the owner the counter correctly shows 104.

Next, I deleted one of the two recently uploaded photos. The counter was 103 correctly in all cases. I uploaded the photo again and only when logged in as the owner, the counter displays 104. When not being logged in or logged as admin, the counter remains 103.

So it looks like while a delete will update the counter, uploading a new photo has no impact on the counter (except when logged in as the owner).

Does this help in pinpointing the problem?

I just added two photos. When I’m logged in, the counter says 104.
When I’m not logged in (our logged in as admin), the counter stays at 86.

I also tried the harmless option from table VIII – A but to no avail.

Hmmm, that might be a valid solution for the administrator, but that’s not something that any user can do.

Maybe an option for a next release?

I understand the problem with the first picture that changes upon changing the window size.

However, I would like my website to be user-friendly on desktops, tablets or smartphones and these all have different screen sizes.

Would there be a possibility to detect the screen size (or resolution) and then allow me to enter multiple sizes?
Then I could define a fixed size for each of the resolutions.

Well, not all resolutions, but maybe it would be possible to define sizes for :
– < 480 pixels
– < 800 pixels
– < 1200 pixels
– < 2000 puxels
– > 2000 pixels

By re-installing via the plugins page it works.
Now the picture of any subalbum is correctly displayed.

Regarding the messed-up page when a user was logged in, I solved it by reverting to WP admin no show 1.4.5.
Luckily, I made a full backup recently which allowed me to easily switch back.

It might be related to the plugin WP Admin no show which I also updated today from 1.4 to 1.5.
When I disable this plugin, the drill-down is working correctly even when logged in as a normal user.

I enabled the WP Admin no show plugn again because I would like you to be able to see the result.

I will also look for an alternative plugin if this would solve the problem.
