I’ve updated xfish_meta to version 0.3 which should validate with XHTML DTDs.

I also added a contact email so next time I can react faster (it was mere coincidence I stumbled across this post).

Hi creativatorz, I’m the developer of xfish. Seems your email didn’t come through.

The thing with xfish is that you don’t have to do anything but to define the custom fields ‘keywords’ and ‘description’ in your post, xfish will do the rest if you enabled it.

I got it to work by using something like WordWords (notice the 2 capitals in it). Thanks for clarifying what a WikiWord is ??

First, thanks for exhibit. I tried it out yesterday for the first time and it does a fine job.
My question: What can I do to make it look more decent when you have distant aspect ratios and/or descriptiont varying wildly in length?

Yes, just use different prefixes.

I’m not 100% sure about this. Subdomains should work anyway, directories should be allright too.
I have currently WPs on different subdomains and they’re doing fine.

Just tested it again, no problems. What will definitely cause problems if you try “Save as” with the xfish_meta.phps, this will wreak havoc with the plugin page.
I updated the plugin site with a hint that it must be copy and pasted. If you’re still having problems let me know.

Can you give me more details about what doesn’t work? I’m using it on a live site without any problems. I will double check the version I put online right now …

Because I’m still testing it on another smaller site that has a far more narrower topic.

You can tweak WP to be (almost) everything you like, if you are capable of PHP.

You mean something like “a blog that doesn’t look like a blog”?

I had the same problem. Pinging several sites can be sluggish at times. I switched back to only use the pingomatic and never had problems since.
