UPDATE: Tried a basic amazon link URL for a search result page, nothing.

However, I then tried one product and it shows.

There’s no button, etc, but it’s displayed and linked.

So, 2 questions, now:

First a comment. Thanks.

1. Is there a way to display the page result of a URL from my own amazon search? I just want to show the URL for that result page.

2. Buy Button – I think I saw I can add a button in the settings, yes … or am I mistaken?

Again, I’d just like to simply show a result set/URL from my own keyword search.

By the way, the url I tried is for a specific search. I just grabbed the affiliate text link.

Hi. i had already done this, as mentioned.

Is the plugin supposed to be recognized by the post editor and thus, display the product?

I ask because the wordpress page/post editor doesn’t seem to care i have an amazon url pasted.

Again, I see some activity when i create a unit. But, if I just go into the editor and paste a URL, nothing’s happening. I’m not seeing any errors or issues, but I’ll keep looking.

Just trying also to make sure I’m thinking on this, properly.

Not my plugin but did you enable comments for that particular post for page? You might want to check under screen options at the top to make sure that comments checkbox is checked which will then allow you to check the box in your edit post or page area for enabling comments. If you’ve done that then you can disregard this.

Sure. I have noticed that when I include multiple pretty links within a specific textbox (e.g. a youtube description), I get the whole list of links in the report; fractions of a second apart (or seconds apart, maybe).

by the way, i just checked some of my other sites and those are set to not filter robots and in normal mode. those appear to be doing fine.

However, I am not sure if it’s because there are no other pretty links in the same text box. Look fwd to your reply on this and recent. Much appreciated!

Thanks. But, how can we troubleshoot if it doesn’t? For example, whenever someone apparently clicks one of my links, i get multiple reports at that same point of all of my links in that text field, for instance.

In other words, if I’m using a link in a youtube video, the reporting shows all of my links, which I believe are also listed in this video.

So, in my reporting, I get a long list of pretty links and I cannot even know which link was clicked.

I’m still checking my settings but right now, i have the filter on and extended. Thanks.

I think i have experienced the same issue, here. I am trying to not see every single link show as clicked when it’s either the robots only or: does this occur when one link is clicked, then all of the others get processed by the robots?

I’m not fully familiar with the robot process, but I’d like to see of wp fan1 above my comment and myself are the only ones with this confusion (on robots not filtering.)

I am not even sure it’s this setting I want. However, it probably is because I hit all of those settings before i even saw this thread, and nothing seemed to change.
