In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Error configuring S3no, no Safari used to configure, Chrome is the browser by choice used to configure, also no Mac used, it was done in a Windows 8.1 computer.
Server is a CentOS 6 64 bits with the latest and greatest patches and updates, funny thing is that it was working, it worked for two days, then stopped doing it, and during those days nothing changed in the server, no updates, no configuration changes, nothing… so I’m thinking this could be more of an Amazon change and that the plugin is not compatible with the new Amazon API or something

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Error configuring S3I did and no luck, created new keys and gave Admin rights, even though the old ones still work

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] CDN S3No, the initial upload has to be done using the optins provided at the top of your admin side… for the rest, yes, they will be uploaded by the plugin
I’m having the same issues. “Error retrieving a list of your S3 buckets” I had to remove the plugin since it was making it impossible to work in my site.
Also, I was getting an http error almost every time I tried to upload any media, at the beginning I was blaming it to wordpress, but since I removed the plugin the errors are gone
Found what it was, it was actually some settings in my php and server preventing it to do what it was supposed to do, it is working now.
Question, will it work in a multisite installation??
THanks for your time
Yes it is, I’m thinking probably something related to permissions, though makes no sense, what level of permissions the plugin requires to be able to delete de files, currently is 644
I’m having the same problem, the difference is that I use MU, the files are uploaded to S3, but not deleted from my main server, anything that I might be missing???
I’m getting also the same problem as cutzu
