After trying everything you proposed, I decided to update my WordPress to the latest version and now everything is working again!

I don’t think that the amount of sets is the problem in this case.
It never was a problem before, I just recently seperated the pictures in different school years. They’ve always been together in 1 collection.

And, when you open for instance https://klim-op.be/wordpress/index.php/25j-juf-lucia/
you’ll see that this collection also won’t work, although it doesn’t contain that much photos. [gallery type='flickr' user_id='127639648@N06' collection_id='72157659346462692']

I changed the timeout to 100, but that didn’t help either.

I also tried the previous version, didn’t do the trick. I don’t have older versions anymore. I jumped from version .58 to .63 when updating.

Thank you very much for replying so fast and trying to find a possible solution.
Your last example on the demo page is a leap forward in loading the page faster, I’ll be happy to try it out.

Flickr could have done a lot more with those collections…
