No need to bother, on my behalf. I was looking for help more than 2 months ago. Tried to get help through any channel I could find, including here, your website, email, and even Twitter. No response until today.

With no support, there was no way I was going to add QSM as a solution for my client’s business to rely on. I moved on, and eventually found something reliable and well-supported.

I have a test site, https://test.catalyzeit.net, which only has TwentySeventeen theme, Gutenberg plugin, and the recommended Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. That’s all. I can’t get anything but the dreaded white screen, where you can’t see nor edit the post content for anything.

If I activate the Send System Info plugin, I can pull the following info about my config.

Help, please! I want to try things out with Gutenberg but so far have not been able because of this persistent issue.

Thanks again for your help, sterndata. I had to tear most of it down and re-do it this morning, but now have it set up using media queries so it works.

tried that, but that made the call to action width 100% of the page, rather than the width of the text. Is there some way to fix that?

Thanks, that solved the issue with the image. Now I realize I have a separate issue with the call-to-action button, which is broken into 3 pieces on mobile screen. I want it to scale to be proportionately similar to the image.

Oh, wait, I see there is a non-configured pages setting: “Allow visitors to request secure versions of pages even if they are not configured in your certificate settings below.” It is presently set to Force non-SSL configured pages to use http. Should I set it to Allow non-SSL configured pages to use https ?

On WPEngine, under SSL, one can “secure specific URLS”. That is where https://santa-elena.org/^/checkout/ is set. I can delete that one rule. Then I guess I could set the home and site urls to https. Is that right?

Mike, thanks for the quick assistance. I presently have ^/checkout/ set to use https via the WP Engine hosting interface (I guess it works through modification of .htaccess but don’t really understand it all.) Do I need to turn that off before I set the whole site to use https the way you suggest?

I’ve seen reference to causing a rewrite loop and though I don’t know what that is exactly, it doesn’t sound good.
