THANKS the above link worked for me fixing nexgen gallery ERROR when uploading images to a gallery: “require_once( WP_LOAD_PATH . ‘wp-admin/admin.php’); etc….

the funny thing is today – a day after i posted this, the update came up in the plugins.
updated fine. all is well. just make sure you back up any custom code you create.

having a problem downloading a pdf file as a user.

as the admin i can upload the pdf file fine, but when a user tries to get the pdf file from their account (widget sidebar) the pdf downloads as a corrupt file. i think the relationship between the pdf file and expected mime type is wrong. please help. thanks

latest version of plugin and wordpress.

i tried the original wordpress theme + no plugins on. still BROKE. anyone have any ideas? sounds like it never worked stock without changing code?

this is the code i am using. as you can see the first gallery works. the second does not.

i tried deleting and reloading the nextgen plugin. still the same error “Rendering of template gallery-extend.php failed”… also permissions are all 755 which i think is correct. what gives? please help.

i need help with this too, please.
