Hi, thanks for the reply. Switching the theme makes no difference, same with any theme. I’ve tried editing the widget from both the Widgets pages and live in Customise.

This means it could be caused by another plugin, I’ll find some time to disable them and check which one causes the issue.

Okay, ignore this… when the theme is published those sample images disappear.

Thanks… unfortunately setting to Full Post isn’t an option, I don’t want the site to display full posts, and it would take me forever to go through and add More tags.

The video post doesn’t work, even with a More tag and set to a normal post.

As I said, this theme works fine on www.ads-software.com sites, so the issues are seen when it’s self-hosted.

What do you mean by hide thumbnails? Thumbnails of a featured image? You could just not set a featured image, and then no thumbnail will appear.

Ah, okay, I worked it out. Edit the visibility of the post (top right, it will usually say ‘Public’) and click on the option for ‘Stick this post to the front page’. Simple when you know how.

Totally agree with those saying that a simple theme is best – easy to customise, easy to read. If hadn’t recently adopted another theme (and invested some time in some customisations to that) I’d be starting work on Twenty Twelve this weekend. Great job guys.

Same here, but anything with a link get through despite setting it to block one of more links.

I’m seeing this issue, but I didn’t relate it to where emoticons were being used. Just tested and, yes, it holds any comment with an emoticon for moderatiion.

It’s okay, I found the issue. The page source says that the class is “widget widget_archive” – my stylesheet was defining widget_archives.

So somewhere in the code the s has been dropped.

Don’t blame my stylesheet, it was okay before the upgrade.

I agree. The previous versions were fine. Everything has moved round, is difficult to find. The editor isn’t working properly, the toolbar buttons are missing.

I appreciate the efforts of the developers but this isn’t progress.

Thanks, that worked… but the strange thing is that I didn’t uncheck it at any point.
