Okay. I put the <marquee>Put the text you want to scroll here.</marquee> into the html. It scrolls but I was looking for something with a box of revolving text. I do like the marquee and might be able to use it on another site but not this one.

Thanks. I’ll give that a try later on today if I have time. This is my first WordPress website and I’ve struggled my way through quite a bit.

I ma using Twenty Ten. Does that matter? Also, could I copy the existing styles.css, function.php, etc that I already have and how will this affect my site that I have now? Should I have created this child theme from the beginning and how do you point all of your stuff over to the child theme instead of the one that is provided when first installing a site?
What happens if I stick to the same theme for now as I’ve already built most of my site and don’t know what it will mess up at this point.

I apologize for all of the questions but I don’t want to just go through the motions without an understanding of why I am doing it.

Very disappionted by the support on this site. I have posted two issues and had to fix one of the two on my own. This issue is still not resolved. Z posted the code like you asked and haven’t heard back from anyone.

Can anyone give me a step-by-step on how to add my social media icons to the header. I’ve tried about every post out there and they still aren’t showing up.

I uploaded the function.php code that I added. I also upgraded the social media widget. I can now configure it but the icon still does not show up in my header.
