Hello @ruigehond Joeri, thanks for your quick reply. Whilst I am not a coding expert by any means, I have asked ChatGPT to provide a solution. I now have a working code snippet that adds a dropdown field to the plugin settings allowing to select a page and a corresponding favicon. This works perfectly fine. See screen capture below. I am happy to share this code with you, if you wanted to include it officially within the plugin.

    Kind regards,

    Jacques

Hi, I finally solved the problem. I have changed my database settings in wp-config.php from localhost to 127.0.0.1. Everything seems to work fine now. Thanks for your assistance!

I ran the db query command and indeed I receive the following error:

Error: Failed to get current SQL modes. Reason: ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can’t connect to local server through socket ‘/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock’ (2)

My websites are running fine so what could be the cause of this error ?

    Thanks

I updated wp cli to the latest version and then tried again.

Still same error. The snapshot is created but the descriptions changes into “snapshot is broken”

I am using a Contabo VPS running Ubuntu 20.04

Answering my own question: I found the following plugin which allowed me to manager on which pages the Scrollies plugin should be active. It works great!

    Hello Luka,

    Just for the record:

I never said that your upgrade price was too high. In fact I find it very reasonable and I also never asked for a special discount so please stick to the facts.

My point is that you are not open to listen to feedback from your customers who can be great ambassadors for your product. Instead you are punishing them for having bought your product as an LTD offer from a third party vendor. Then you start creating artificial barriers which prevent us to make the best use of your product.

If you don’t want anymore LTD customers, then say it clearly and stop offering your product on StackSocial

    Hi Tony,

    Just a quick note.

After a very unpleasant and very unprofessional experience with Koofr, I decided to go with pCloud as my main backup storage.

Feel free to continue adding WebDav support but I am already happy with the current pCloud integration.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Tony,

That sounds great. I actually have a Pro licence of WPvivid backup so I’ll wait for this feature to arrive hopefully soon!

    Thanks a lot,

    Hi Ashiquzzaman,

Thanks for the additional information. I finally found the option to activate double opt-in inside the list settings. It was indeed a bit hard to find.

I can confirm the double opt-in process works fine -:).

Even though I configured my own redirection page in French, I first got redirected to your server with a confirmation message in English and then I got redirected a second time to my own confirmation page.

Unfortunately I cannot use the plugin right now without the possibility to have a 100% localization in French. However, I am still very interested in the development of this plugin, so let me know if you need any beta-testers for localization features in the future.

    Kind regards,

    (@djek)

I am referring to the built-in opt-in form.

    Thanks!

Great! I can confirm it works now -:)

One last question / feature request:

Would it be possible to add a field to show a picture or icon on the sign up form?

Ideally both: one icon field and one picture field.

    Thanks a lot!

I probably found the culprit. I had a maintenance / coming soon plugin installed which seems to interfere with the wps hide login plugin.

    all good now.

    Thanks

    Hi Jack,

Not sure if you are still looking for a solution but here is a lightbox plugin which works great with wp tiles. it’s called easy-fancybox.

    https://fr.www.ads-software.com/plugins/easy-fancybox/

There is one small change you need to make to standard setup which is adding the following line to the ‘sections field’ in the Easy-fancybox configuration page: ” .wp-tiles-container”

Once you have added that, everything works.

    Hope this is usefull,

    cheers,

    Jacques
