In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] 3.1.28 CrashedSame here, rolled back to 3.1.27, awaiting the fix to 3.1.28 ??
I just changed to PHP 7.0.33, and it is working for me now.
Only had one other (unused) plugin that broke, so all is well ??
Dave
This is what I suspected, had other plugins with issues also along the way due to PHP versions. My shared hosting will only go up to PHP 7.0 vice 7.1, is currently set at 5.6.37
If it’s too much of a bother to have it available for PHP 5.6, don’t worry about it, I can probably find other work-arounds. That being said, if you want to provide a 5.6 version, I wouldn’t complain about it, either! ??
Dave
I should add that this is with PHP Version 5.6.37

I’m getting the same “Google Maps JavaScript API warning: RetiredVersion”. I understand that this is not fatal and just a warning, but the plugin should be updated to use the newest API versions.
Erick,
I have just upgraded on a bunch of sites, looks to me like there are no more issues. Thanks for the rapid response!

Depending on the problem, this might help… Theme Fix
Thank you so much @snowme, that did the trick!
Just upgraded to 2.1.62, and it has been rectified.
Thanks, and I must say, for such a minor annoyance, this is extremely fast turnaround!

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Multi-Day EventsTroubleshooting Update – the multi-day events with start and end times display correctly if the end time on the last day is set to a time later than the start time on the first day, but that is not always the case for events.
Example 1:
Start November 13, 2015 19:30
End November 15, 2015 15:00
Does Not DisplayExample 2:
Start November 13, 2015 19:30
End November 15, 2015 20:00
Does DisplayAgree – am going to change it out and use Google Calendar, have that on other sites without problems ??
I’m running 4.1 on all the sites
Brian,
On the one site that all is well on, it is the same. On the 2 that are incorrect, no they are offset an additional 8 hours – for instance, it is now 18:51 UTC, 10:51 PST, and the 2 sites are showing 02:51.
Breakthrough – I just went through themes/plugins on the sites, and the only difference between the one that is working and the 2 that are not is that the 2 have Ajax Event Calendar (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/ajax-event-calendar/) installed. I disabled this plugin on one site and the scan schedule page showed the correct time, so it is now a compatibility issue between the 2 plugins.
I also checked the Wordfence’s report of phpinfo’s default timezone, and it has now changed to UTC from America/Vancouver, so obviously the Ajax Event Calendar is messing with some of the PHP settings (will have to go through the code to see how/where).
I will post the issue in the Ajax Event Calendar plugin’s forum also.
Thanks,
Dave
