In reply to: Secured access to pages by user accountThanks govpatel, I think I need to clarify. I don’t want them logging in to the admin area. They need to login to a front-end page. They would login to a page on the public site to access another protected, customer-specific page.

In reply to: Would like custom menu option (url) to open in a new windowIf you happen to be using iThemes Builder, you have to edit the Navigation Module in each Layout to tell it to use a custom menu. Just a thought. ??

In reply to: Would like custom menu option (url) to open in a new windowD’oh! I was changing it on a sub-menu and testing it from the main menu. Sorry about that, but Thanks LOADS for the solution. It is just what I needed.

In reply to: Would like custom menu option (url) to open in a new windowThanks, that sounds perfect. However, I did what you said and the drop down appeared for my menu option, I set it to open in new window, saved the menu, but it did not work. Tried it in IE & FF. A view of source code shows no target in the A tag. Am I missing something? Have you actually seen this work?
WP 3.1 and everything up to date.

In reply to: Displaying article Posts on a PageVince, I came up with the same solution for my site, but there is one problem. I am using the Pages widget as sub-navigation to display all sub-pages within this main menu option. However, when I add the
php query_posts
line before the loop in my page template, I loose thecurrent_page_item
class in the sub menu that indicates which page the user is on at the moment. If I remove the abovementioned line of code, the sub nav works properly, but my page doesn’t do what I want it to.You can check out the Meeting Minutes sub-page under the Government menu option at https://www.unionspringsny.com/wp.
Thanks
