The issue is that, when disable Featured Image for example, it do not hide (as expected to work) but it DISAPPEARS (you cannot see it again to enable it). This is what happens if Tutor LMS plugin is enable.

Please go to Appearance / Customize / Blog / Blog Entries (or Single Post) /. From there put Blog Style section in Large Image option. Scroll to Elements Positioning section and try to disable any enabled item (for example, Featured Image). It disappears in my intallation (even in a fresh installation)

I am very happy to announce you that the conflict with Rank Math plugin is solved. The Rank Math Support suggested me to use the following filter and it solved the issue.

As you suggest, I performed a troubleshooting checkup and indeed, there is a conflict with Tutor LMS plugin. ?When disable that plugin, Feature image item appear and I can enable or disable it, even other items. So what would you suggest I do to resolve the conflict?

?Yes, I have tried isolating the issue by using only Rank Math and the OceanWP theme.

As the reply button don’t response (it cannot open the reply form) when clicking on it, there is not much error logs information related to the page as you can see below.

I am now very confused ! In a fresh WordPress installation there is no issue. I installed 3 plugins : Ocean Extra, Rank math and The Event Calendar and there is no issue with responding comments (even with more plugins) . But having only the same plugins in my real website still causes the issue. I even cleaned the Cloudflare cache.

The fact is that with all my plugins installed if I disabled Rank Math SEO plugin, nested comments (responding to a comment) works fine.

The version 2.1.5 beta is working very well : it is displaying normally the Bible reading plan with PHP 8.1 enabled.

There is just a little problem in the setting, tab 4. When one clicks on it, it takes a little long time and displays the following error :

ERROR: Could not retrieve list of versions from the Bible Brain (aka the Digital Bible Platform) API.
