This is broke. I would suggest anyone thinking about this to do a full backup and know you are probably reverting back.

This is a big issue. I would suggest that no one do this without a full backup and willing to migrate backwards. This is broke for sure.

Just to let you know, deleting the browscap file does not work, as it reuploads it as soon as it can’t find it.

I went into the browsecap folder in the plugin and renamed one of the files so it failed. After it failed I turned off browsecap. This is basically failing on everything that we have now… so it is a pretty big issue when a plugin takes down your site.

I will try this out tonight. I don’t understand because we have plenty of memory on the server. And it doesn’t work right after stop starting the server. If I need to up the php memory I can do that too. I still am not getting this issue because it just “happened” – site was working then boom nothing. The only thing that could really cause that is a mysql (maybe memory) issue right?

OK so best practices are to update main version first? All good after updating the main plugin.

Just some feedback for your plugin too:
First it is awesome that it tracks so many things and has tons of flexibility. We have a large corporate internal site and we track a ton of things. It was fairly easy for us to track and to set up things without causing latency.

The actual only issues we had were when we tried to do some of the more advanced things like displaying things on the admin dashboard and stuff like that – just trying it out for fun. For some of the stuff – even without us messing with default settings – it caused admin to crawl to 20 second page loads. Some things turned on caused memory leaks and crashes. This is us trying this stuff out about 6 months ago. We never needed this stuff so we simply turned it off.

I rate pretty hard and I give your plugin a solid 9 out of 10 (10 out of 10 for just performance). I have to take a point off because some of the advanced features like slim_events stuff I have a hard time finding good doc/tutorials to send to my staff. One of my experienced devs or me can figure things out but its not “easy”. A suggestion would be allow your users to add things to your knowledge base -like examples once someone on your team OKs it.

What are you going to do with it? Allow all custom posts or allow us to set?

This is just me being lazy and having used subscribed to comments reloaded since the month it was released. But what is the difference in Comment Mail vs STCR?

Any word on the plugin updating with new js? Still major admin side issues. (conflicts with menu and almost all my plugins)

Yes there is a js error on ‘app.min.js’ and it is causing all other js to halt which is causing modals, hovers, and other native things to not work. I tested this out on a clean 4.3 and it is breaking a few things.

This is fixed in version 1.5. Never got to troubleshooting the code but works great now!

Hi Masud – This is not a conflict issue. Your plugin code is leaking into other admin pages. I tested this on fresh install along with my other issue – default open container issue.

Yes this is a bug to go with the default open bug I mentioned. Weird there is no reply on this after a month.

Deleting line worked for me on Windows. Also for some reason windows defender thinks your plugin is a virus. I literally download a 1000 plugins a year and yours was the first that reacted like this.

for #1 add on show_ui which is also set to false.

Thanks camu. I added this and it fixed the double links but I don’t see where it is tracking the external views. I don’t see any information come up on the real-time monitor. Am I looking in the wrong place?
