tbh its not the blog side of things im after although would be a bonus. but what im after is a way of letting my members on my site use subfolders/or/subdomains so they can setup their own webpages. They dont need much space/bandwidth as theyll just be pages for information really, basically just pages that act like dj profile/mini website

i would like them to be either like this for example

https://www.profiles.domain.com/dj/tom/
https://www.profiles.domain.com/dj/tony/

or

https://www.domain.com/profiles/dj/john/
https://www.domain.com/profiles/dj/tom/
https://www.domain.com/profiles/dj/tony/

i have vbulletin 3.7 but the profiles arent that good. I would look to offer my members mini sites ^ if it were : s

any idea of how i go about this?

i was thinking of using wordpress becauase theres a vbulletin hack that can be used with it so i could snyc/bridge users which saves having to register for different accounts. thoug i not long ago noticed that the vbulletin wordpress hack works with the standard wordpress only and doesnt work with wordpress mu which is a bit of a wonder because i could have shared the usergroups. still having what im after to work as a stand alone software might do the trick. i dont know, maybe theres a better script that is better designed/developed better for what i want it to do? just that wordpress is the only one that looks promosing so far though

aaah i see. can it not be done with the standard wordpress. just the reason i ask is because i want to use a vbulletin hack so i can bridge/sync the users but it only works with the standard wordpress not wordpress mu?

already tried phpmyadmin but it didnt work. its only when i read that page ^ about you have to select md5 it worked
