I wish I could find a event calendar that could handle game schedule but also things like meetings, etc.

I did find the sticky option. I did post in that other forum but haven’t gotten any responses yet. I am just stuck.

I am not set on that template, but it was just one I found that looked good as a starter template. Like I said, I am very new to this and am just trying to help a small business have some presence on the web. Any suggestions on this template or any other is appreciated. I thought there might be an option to change this in the control panel and it might not be a template modification.

I basically just want a home page that allows them to have something written that stays at the top, and then the option to put other pieces of content below that, and of course change that setup if needed. I have used Joomla for years so I know how to do it there, just not WP yet.

Until I get this resolved, I have just pointed the homepage to my About Us page, which is static.

I also notice the Breaking News thing at the top isn’t doing anything.

I would also like to be able to put a logo/banner at the top of the page where the name is. I know the option to put in a logo in the control panel, but it’s only like a 150×150. I’d like to put in something wider if possible.
