Hi, for sure, this is what happens. The meta data get cloned along with the entity. But cloning a post, is just a way to easily copy/paste the data and create a new post by editing some data. Don’t you think that post views should be excluded from getting copied?
Imagine a new post created after cloning, getting 1000 views upfront. Is this ok? If yes, then I should look for another plugin.

thanks for replying. I contacted WPML support and below is their answer:
The recaptcha embedding is handled by javascript and therefore bypasses the WPML architecture

So, it is not something related to WPML. Could you advice furthermore?

Hi, issue is solved. Somehow the hide backend feature was “lost” during latest updates. I do not know how, but it happened. I re-enabled and set it again to my custom url and now everything works as expected.

Hi, i am having also the same issue and use Plesk. Is it possible to change the modsecurity firewall rules from Plesk like cpanel?

Also, 2 additional questions:
1) If we disable the specific rules, isn’t this some kind of “discount” on the security quality?
2) The wp 4.4.1 update was applied to 6 sites i host on the same shared hosting provider and only one of them had this issue. How could this be explained?

the same happened to my site. I got a 403 (You don’t have permission to access /index.php on this server) after updating to wp 4.4.1. The error did not dissapear even if i removed all of my site plugins.

Also, the error appeared to only one of my updated sites. I host 6 wp sites on the same shared hosting provider and only one of them had this problem.

actually the index.php is ok from all aspects you mention.

This is more complicated. From the server logs, seems like mod_security prevents the site from being executed (error 403) upon http request, due to “Potential Obfuscated Javascript in output…”.

No, actually to one of my sites the updated plugin works and to another site is does not.

The issue is that it does not appear to login page after updating to v1.21 (wp 4.4) and as a result the login fails.

i totally agree. Recaptcha was not displaying in none of my sites updated to version 1.21 and i had to fallback to previous backup…

Could you please provide an update or workaround?
