Was having the same issue. I de-activated my “Autoptimize” and it fixed everything. I guess I’ll keep it de-activated until I see a plugin update

In reply to: I think my site has been comprised… Please help if you canYep, I have it all sorted now. That was a bit stressful, to say the least. Good to know about WordFence… I think I will download Ninja instead as I’m already running Securi (without a firewall).

In reply to: I think my site has been comprised… Please help if you canYes so frustrating! It was a real long day for me…. I deleted the blog through my host and then re-installed WordPress and restored everything from a backup.
So far everything is back to normal, but like you suggested, maybe it’s not a full solution?
I had Securi plugin but I have now added Wordfence as well because it has a firewall. Hoping that blocks this from happening again.
Any thoughts on where out sites might be vulnerable?
Awesome! Thanks a lot, that worked perfectly!
Ah that’s what’s causing it! Okay makes sense. However, the solution makes slightly less sense to me. I know how to edit the theme’s style.css but I’m not sure what you mean by adding a unique class to the elements. Is that something I would do through Elementor?
Thanks a lot for the help! Really appreciate it!

In reply to: Any idea whats happening here? Short code issue? No I didn’t, it’s very strange. It seemed to have happened at some point during the day today when I wasn’t working on it. Maybe there was an update or something.
But the whole page is displaying so strangely…. it’s somehow super long now and showing WAY more than when I originally created it. It’s almost like it is showing a link to everything else that exists in the site.
The page was only made to show from the header “EPISODES” (way down near the bottom) and down.

In reply to: Any idea whats happening here? Short code issue? Thanks for the reply! I will give that a try. I do have a back up I can restore from (from yesterday) so maybe I’ll do that first to see if it clears up
