In reply to: [Yada Wiki] Support for Greek Titles in Yada Wiki LinkHi @aikker – I did a bit or research and I think it would be possible to have an option to use the slug instead. However, this will not be a quick change and I’m not free to work on it until January. I’m sorry for the unfavorable news.
Best regards,
David

In reply to: [Yada Wiki] Quotation Marks in Yada Wiki Shortcode LinksI’ve been able to create a wiki link that is italicized and has quotes around it by selecting the shortcode in the editor, then clicking on the italics button which makes the shortcode italicized in the editor and the output italicized on the frontend, and then putting quotes around the shortcode which results in quotes around the output wiki link on the frontend. Note however, the links don’t appear italicized or with quotes in the index.

In reply to: [Yada Wiki] Quotation Marks in Yada Wiki Shortcode LinksI did some searching and see people asking similar questions regarding double quotes within shortcodes for years. I think they are filtered out for security purposes. I was able to use a single quote inside of double quotes, but I don’t know if that will always work. (it is possible in your example the single quote was curved?)

In reply to: [Yada Wiki] Wiki tag pageHi @ppieczul – Thank you for the extra information. You are correct that by default the wiki_tag archive page for that tag should show when you click on a tag in the tag cloud. My guess is that perhaps your theme, or you, have customized the archive page? For example, if you are using a block theme and the Site Editor there is an option to create a template for wiki_tags. Also, some page builders like Elementor might require that you create a template for custom taxonomies (like wiki_tags) if you are using its theme builder functionality. Which theme and builder are you using?

In reply to: [Yada Wiki] Wiki Link text not see in tag/category listsI found this discussion. Perhaps it is enough to help you figure it out: https://www.reddit.com/r/Wordpress/comments/8jd5vr/shortcode_use_in_post_excerpt_in_oceanwp_theme/

In reply to: [Yada Wiki] Wiki Link text not see in tag/category listsHi @adalela – What I understand from your question is that you are looking at wiki pages listed in an archive, such as the wiki category archive, where WordPress shows an excerpt of the content. By default WordPress does not process shortcodes in excerpts. Some themes may have a way to show excerpts with their shortcodes. What theme are you using?

In reply to: [Yada Wiki] Index Output doesn’t set a number of columnsHi Frank,
It is certainly possible I missed something as getting the columns output is a bit tricky. I think I need some more info. I entered 9 states and got this output from this shortcode:
https://share.zight.com/5zuvRLvZ
[yadawiki-index type=”category-name” category=”States” columns=”3″]
The shortcode does not output child categories. The articles have to be published. Using pretty permalinks. Duplicate names not in trash, etc.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Yada Wiki] The “yadawiki-index” tag is not workingI see that there are other options for outputting a list, so I am going the CSS table route.

In reply to: [Yada Wiki] The “yadawiki-index” tag is not workingSorry, no, that was just a thought. I’ve found the problem. It probably never worked correctly as it was outputting the categories and not the articles in the category. Since I’ll need to code that part fresh, I wonder if you prefer the articles are output as a list, or as a table (like the Index Pages)?
