I did not do “make install” and ran it from the build directory.

Both versions of php were built identically and linked with zlib 1.2.7. With php 5.4 the site fails immediately.

The php is linked with zlib 1.2.7 and works fine now with php 7.3.12

Unselect “show faces” and the posts, at least, will show up.

Alternatively, you don’t need the plugin and you can code here and use it in a text widget. This code works, with or without faces.

And the plugin will no longer show the posts stream unless you select “show faces”.

I’ve chosen to use the code from the above page in a text widget and disable the plugin.

I found that if I do not display faces then I see no posts from the news feed. Once I show faces the posts are back. But, the dimensions are messed up now. Other posts mention this.
