@thomasplevy
appologies again.
I was asking the guys what file am I to edit to make custom translation changes so that it doesn’t go away with the next update.I have inserted the two abovemented renamed files to /wp-content/languages/plugins/lifterlms and got my english interface back.
а такой еще вопрос, точечные правки в каком файле делать, чтоб при обновлении не слетело?
премного вами благодарен!
is the address correct? – /wp-content/languages/lifterlms
for the files to be inserted, i mean.asi have /wp-content/lifterlms/languages if i’m not mistaken
ребят, сделал все, как сказали, “подсадил” два переименованных файла. но сегодня при очередном обновлении плагина (видимо) опять встала официальная русская версия. в отчаянии пребываю. как английскую-то оставить, чтобы при обновлениях не слетало?
@thomasplevy
no offence, we have incidentally switched to russian, here))
we have been discussing though how to retain the english version so that my plug-in does not pick up the russian version each time when it gets updated.
as adviced, i’ve pasted two files en_EN.po and .mo into the plug in folder and renamed them as ru_RU, it seemed to be working yesterday. but today, after the plug in got updated, i got the official russian version automatically installed again.@kellerpt
i’m contributing to the translation of the plugin but it’s a lengthy process you know. so I thought it would be a good decision until the russian translation is available.And the ‘Mark complete” button? what file is it in?
I just typed in the same phrase but in Russian – what was in between the inverted commas.
the only file I’ve come across is form-confirm-payment
and the line is
echo sprintf( __( apply_filters( ‘lifterlms_single_payment_text’,’Единовременный платеж в размере %s’ ), ‘lifterlms’ ), $product_obj->get_price_html() );What’s in Russian used to be ‘Single payment of %s’. Did I inccedentally erased anything useful for the code?
This kind of substitution has worked with every other button or line except for this.

In reply to: [LifterLMS - WP LMS for eLearning, Online Courses, & Quizzes] course tilehello sir, apologies for the delay.
no success so far, i’m uploading an image to the course description box but it doesn’t get integrated into a course tile – just an empty frame with a watermark and a course name underneath.in the video you gave there is a nice picture already in there as a course tile. the process is skipped though.
could there be a problem with the site theme? i use frontier.
Thank you in advancei guess it’s in some conflict with some plug-in which is already installed. thank you anyway!
it’s https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/sidebar-login/
by mike jolleyhi,
the plug-in is called Siderbar Login. When LifterLMS is deactivated the Lost Password button redirects to something like “wp-login.php?action=lostpassword”. So the visiter gets to the password restoration page (which I think is a standard WP feature, correct me if I’m wrong).
When lifterLMS is active, this whole redirection thing doesn’t work and the visiter receives a “page-not-found”
I tried to insert the abovementioned link to the slug box (Accounts tab of the Settings page) but nothing would change. It seems that custom links can be inserted only into the Logout box.
thank you in advance
