We have test/development web site that we use for development and testing of new functionality or complex content before migrating it to the live web site. In order to test out My Calendar, I need to install it on the test/dev web site in order for those who maintain the calendar to determine if it fulfills our requirements. Currently, we have The Events Calendar plugin installed. I don’t want to uninstall this plugin in case it turns out My Calendar fails to meet our needs. So, the question is how to configure the test/dev website so both plugins are installed/
The first idea I had was deactivating The Events Calendar and choosing a slug for the events and event managed by My Calendar that is different from that used by The Events Calendar (which by default is “events” and “event”). However, I don’t know if there is a way to choose a different set of slugs for My Calendar to use and if so, whether there would still be conflicts between the two plugins. Can you advise us on this issue?
