Hi,
Apologies for the delay in replying.
I’m afraid that this issue will need more information that can be shared on this forum.
We would like to be able to implement a general solution, rather than for a specific setup. However, this would require more details to investigate. Please could you contact us via our paid support form (please enter 000000 in the ‘order number’ field)?

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] local backups not deletingHi,
Thank you, apologies for the ongoing inconvenience.
From the log, it appears that the current uploads backup is very large.
This may be resulting in the cleanup operation being timed out due to the large number of temporary files created. Please could you try adding the following to the Uploads exclusion list:
– wpfc-backup
– wpmc-trash
– wpseo-redirectsThese are not required for a backup, and may be inflating the size of the backup by a considerable amount.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Cloud backup functionHi,
Apologies for the ongoing inconvenience.
Please could you send us a backup log from a manual backup where the upload to Google Drive did succeed, so we can compare?
The backup triggered by the script should use the exact same paramters as a manual backup. Only the trigger mechanism is different.
Best Wishes,
DeeHi,
Apologies for the delay.
Are other, non-UpdraftPlus, tasks shown as overdue in the Cron Events page?
If so, I’m afraid that you will need to ask your server admin to investigate, as it seems that the scheduler is not working
Hi,
Apologies for the delay.
Was the next bcakup able to run?
If so, have the daily backups run normally, or are repeat backups still failing to trigger?Hi,
I am going to consult with one of our senior developers and wil update you when I hear back.
Apologies for the ongoing inconvenience.

Hi Richard,
Apologies for the delay.
I’m afraid that the UpdraftPlus log does not show the reason for the failure.
Please could you or your hosts check the ‘wp-content/debug.log’ file for any fatal errors or warning messages occurring around the time of the plugin backup?

DeeHi,
Apologies for the ongoing inconvenience.
Please could you enable the following, and then attempt to take a fresh plugins backup?
- In the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, enable ‘Debug mode’
- In your wp-config, add or update the following lines
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
Please could you send us a copy of the new log file?
Best Wishes,
DeeHi,
Please could you send us a copy of the latest backup log?
The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as pastebin and post the link here.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Unable to View Updraft DashboardHi,
Apologies for the delay.
Please could you try adding the following to your .htaccess file, near the start.
(take a backup of your .htaccess file before doing so):RewriteRule .* - [E=noabort:1]
Please could you also ask your hosts/server admin to check the server error logs for any errors mentioning UpdraftPlus?

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Unable to View Updraft DashboardHi,
If possible, please could you try temporarily deactivating the other plugins on the site (starting with smaller/less popular plugins)?
Does the UpdraftPlus dashboard display after deactivating a certain plugin?Hi,
Apologies for the delay.
It appears that the attempt to process the backup files is being timed out by FastCGI on server.
Please could you ask your hosts/server admin if it is possible to increase the value of the
FcgidIOTimeout
directive?
This should allow the backup process the time to handle the plugins.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Failing to Back up databaseHi,
Apologies for the delay.
In this case, I would recommend excluding the problem table in question.
Theha3v_wfhoover
table is part of the WordFence plugin, and used to store URLs flagged during a scan.As such, excluding it from the backup should not cause any issues.
Instructions on how to exclude a database table can be found here:
https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-can-i-exclude-a-specific-table-from-the-backup/Is there any issue regarding that table logged in the WordFence diagnostics?
If so, I would also recommend contacting WordFence support regarding the issue.Hi
It appears that the backup processing is either not able to run long enough each pass to be able to process the plugin backup file, or an error is occurring when trying to do so.
Please could you try adding the following to your wp-config.php file? This will hopefully override anything which is reducing the PHP maximum execution time:
set_time_limit(900);
If the issue persists, please could you or your server admin also check the PHP error logs for any fatal errors occurring around the time of the backup?
Best Wishes,
Dee
