In reply to: [Blocksy] Widget Area element in the global header disappeared!Hello,
Thank you for the suggestion. However, this allowed me to go back to the customizer. I have continued some tests on my side and the conclusion seems to me to not go through version 2.0.1 which brings too many problems which persist subsequently towards higher versions. Starting from version 1.9.1 to version 2.0.4, it works quite well, provided of course that you clear the WordPress cache and the browser cache.
The question we could ask is about the Starters Kits offered, do they take branch 2 of Blocksy Companion today?

In reply to: [Blocksy] Widget Area element in the global header disappeared!Hello
Pro version V2.0.2 fixes this problem. However, I saw that some customization settings had changed for version 2.0.2 (CSS). I had to reset some settings concerning the colors which had “jumped” for the menu in desktop mode and in tablet mode (subject of messages on this forum).
Next episode: version 2.0.3.

In reply to: [Blocksy] Widget Area element in the global header disappeared! With version 2.0.1 Pro, I have this error message at the location of the widget: “Element widget-area-1 not registered or having no view.php file”. Message also obtained with the Free version, but this is normal, since you need the Pro version.

In reply to: [Blocksy] Widget Area element in the global header disappeared!I can confirm this problem to you, after installation/uninstallation. I tested this:
Theme Blocksy and Blocksy Companion Free V1.9.11 => Widget Area not available
Theme Blocksy and Blocksy Companion Pro V1.9.11 => Widget Area availableTheme Blocksy and Blocksy Companion Free V2.0.1 => Widget Area not available

In reply to: [Blocksy] Widget Area element in the global header disappeared!I have just tested locally only an update of blocsky companion and the theme from version 1.9.11 to version 2.0.1 and the Widget Area has disappeared from the display and the possibility of inserting it again from the header customizer!

In reply to: [Blocksy] Widget Area element in the global header disappeared! To find the Widget Area, I reverted to version 1.9.11 for Blocksy Companion and to version 1.9.11 for the Blocksy theme. After these releases, the “Widget Area” element was removed apparently. Can’t we put it back in the near versions?

To obtain this result (to_redirect), Forum/Settings/URL & SEO must have the personalized connection URL empty.
But, even the URL filled in, it should have the redirect-to addition. A bug or intended?
My answer is not about recaptcha.

Inserting the slideshow using the short term or the Gutenberg block works.
Thanks.
Hello
I don’t have a preference for a short term or a Gutenberg block. However, the proposed demo uses the short term. In general, these starter kits are aimed at novices, including myself. So, it is disturbing when the installation carried out does not obtain the expected result, suggesting an obsolescence of the product.
The short term was functional in version 2.1.7. Now identified the problem, I think it would be good to make this short term functional in a future update of the plugin.
Hello, the problem encountered has been resolved.
Indeed, the insertion with the editor gutenberg “Block slider” allows the slideshow to work.
THANKS
Hello
I started with a new WordPress installation and installed what was strictly necessary for the operation of a “Wood” starter kit offered by CreativeThemes. And I reproduced this malfunction on this page here, to compare to the online demo here.
The plugins requested by this starter kit are Blocksy Companion, Stackable, Block slider, WPForms Lite.
A return to version 2.1.7 of Block slider makes the slider appear.

Disabling the plugins does not solve the problem encountered (cache emptied). Only the return to version 2.1.7 solves this problem and therefore does not encounter any conflict.
