I think I’ve solved the issue a much easier way. I went to settings and replaced the old hostgator “wordpress address” & “site address” with the new domain – https://www.buntology.com
When clicking around the site I no longer see the old hostgator domain (https://ns8316.hostgator.com/~buntolog) – this fix almost seemed to easy
