Hello.

I’m not sure if I understand correctly. You are speaking about category page as entry in menu. I understand that this menu is selected in the Kocuj Sitemap options to be displayed, isn’t it? Please correct me if I’m in error.

All entries from menu will be displayed in the sitemap, so your problem is little strange.

Please try the following advice from the plugin F.A.Q.:
“You can go to the administration settings for the Kocuj Sitemap plugin (submenu Basic settings) and click on the Save settings button. During the saving of settings there is a process of recreating the cache, so the new content will be used from this moment.”

Unfortunatelly, it is impossible for now. I’m planning to add this feature (multiple sitemaps), but this requires to change at least one half of plugin code. Because of this, this feature will not be available too soon.

There will be probably in the future version 3.0.0 of this plugin with totally new code and with better possibilities for adding new features more quickly. For now, it is not so easy, so some features (such as multiple sitemaps) will not be added soon.

EDIT:
However, maybe there is a way to add new shortcode parameter (it’s relatively easy). I’ll let you know in this topic if there will be success in doing this.

For me it helps that I deactivate all plugins which blocks REST API for anonymous users. It looks like REST API is required for the “Contact Form 7” plugin.

I don’t know how WooCommerce work. However, if products list is in the sitemap, I can assume that products are custom posts types and products categories are custom taxonomies.

Please, read the documentation about shortcode for sitemap – especially about “excludepost” and “excludeterm” parameters.

No. Only qTranslate X plugin is supported for now.

I’m checking code right now and I can’t see anything which would execute adding options container more than once and there is no reason to having this sort of error.

I will be checking more, but for now I’d like to ask you if you have no other copies of the Kocuj Sitemap plugin on your website. Please, check if in your “wp-content/plugins” folder there are no more than one directory which contains text “kocuj”. It is important to know it for me, if I want to help you.

That’s very strange, because I’ve tested the Kocuj Sitemap plugin and I’m personally using it on few websites with WordPress in the newest version.

I’m not sure right now how can I help. I will see the code and try to find some things which maybe are responsible for this sort of problems on your website. I’ll let know in this topic.

Unfortunatelly, your upgrade process has wrong order. There were some changes in WordPress that are incompatible with the functionality of Kocuj Sitemap plugin in versions older than 2.4.0. Because of that, when WordPress will be updated to 4.7.3, then the Kocuj Sitemap will be updated (in this order), the upgrade process for the Kocuj Sitemap plugin can work incorrectly. There can be no solution for this in the Kocuj Sitemap plugin, because it were changes in the WordPress core.

The solution is to manually remove directory and all files for the Kocuj Sitemap plugin (“/wp-content/kocuj-sitemap”). Then you should login to your administration panel (it will work again) and reinstall WordPress in the newest version (in “updates” menu). Then you should copy manually the newest version of the Kocuj Sitemap plugin to “/wp-content/kocuj-sitemap” and check in “plugins” menu if it is activated (if not, activate this plugin). It should work now correctly.

I can’t agree with that. This plugin is compatible with the last update and I know a few websites with WordPress version 4.7.3 and Kocuj Sitemap plugin and all of them are working properly. If you would be more specific, then it would be helpful to check what really happened.

As I wrote to you before in e-mail, both customizers for “twentysixteen” and Divi themes are working correctly in my WordPress installations. So, making any fixes is like walking in the dark, because I can’t test if this changes anything.

However, I did find some unneeded actions and filters added by the Kocuj Sitemap plugin into the customizer. This can be source for some problems – maybe it’s source for your problems too.

So, I’ve make an update. From version 2.5.1 there are only few filters and actions from the Kocuj Sitemap plugin in customizer, which are required.

Please, update the Kocuj Sitemap plugin to version 2.5.1, clear browser cache and cookies and check if customizer is working. Please, let me know in this topic.

It is very strange and maybe it is some problem in your website. I did check if customizer for theme “twentysixteen” (default WordPress theme for 2016) is working when the Kocuj Sitemap plugin is installed. And it works. In your case it does not work. It is very strange and it looks like that the problem can be elsewhere than just in the Kocuj Sitemap plugin. Maybe it is some set of plugins which interferes with customizer? It’s hard to say.

OK, I think it will be best solution to send me this theme for testing with the Kocuj Sitemap plugin. I will see if it works on my website. If not, I will be able to search for a bug. However, if it will work, I will probably ask you more questions about your website configuration.

I never heard about this. Are you sure that this problem is because of the Kocuj Sitemap plugin? Please, try to disable the Kocuj Sitemap plugin and check if customizer is working again after that. Additionally, I would reccomended to clear all cookies and browser cache for your website and trying again to get into customizer.

It would be also helpful if you will check if customizer works on your website for standard WordPress theme – “twentyseventeen”.

I ask you to do these steps, because it can show if problem is really in the Kocuj Sitemap plugin and it will make me easier to think about reason for these problems.

If this Divi theme is not commercial, but free to download (for example, from www.ads-software.com), please write the link to it in your reply. It will make testing easier.

New version – 2.5.0 – has an option to remove duplicates in multiple menus in the sitemap. Instruction for this is in FAQ:

In case of menus, there is possibility to have duplicates, because different menus can have some entries the same as others. If you want to remove this duplicates from the sitemap, you should go to the menus settings for the Kocuj Sitemap plugin (submenu Menus list options), click on the tab Options, check the option Remove menu items duplicates from sitemap and click on the Save settings button.

I’ve just thought that maybe you have no information about this update, because the newest version has 4.6 as minimum supported version of WordPress. You have version 4.5.x, so maybe it is the reason for not having information about this update.

If it is the reason, I think you should update the Kocuj Sitemap plugin AFTER updating the WordPress. The yesterday’s update of the Kocuj Sitemap plugin has no new features or bug fixes – only support for WordPress 4.7 and nothing more.
