Ahh – I figured it out.

I’ve installed my Gallery2 via fantastico and the default installation adds the plugin for registration of members. I deactivated this and now it works the way I want to.

Thanks, I’ve checked them out. They’re both good, but still not exactly what I want.

I am however going to be using the Download Manager for something else now, so thanks.

I did manage to find a plugin called WPG2 which intergrates Gallery into WordPress, although it is somewhat complicated to get it to work correctly.

What directory name are you installing it to?

I once had a big problem installing. My directory name had a space between the name eg. “domain/My WordPress” should rather be “domain/My-Wordpress”. Once I did this everything worked like a charm.

Also – make sure you edit the config file as in the installation instructions. Good luck

I had the same problem, all I had to do was go to the file on the server htaccess and change the file permissions so that wordpress can update it. Now everything is looking – “Pretty”
