    Hi @caseproof ,

Thanks so much for your response – this is good to know. I was spending ages trying to set myself the right permission to be able to change the role name! ??

    Thanks,
    Donna

    Hi Ronald,
Doesn’t look like there are any errors, nothing showing up in the Console screen – just the pound sign appears at the end of the URL. Console window just shows this:JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1 and this: load-scripts.php?c=1&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,zxcvbn-async,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-tabs,jquery-form,moxiejs,plupload&ver=4.9.6:9

I will pay you? Pretty please. ??

    Hi,
I am having the same issue – I’ve just upgraded from 3.2.1 to 3.2.4. The file size calculation works and the links work, but no icons. My stylesheet is also a 404. Here is a link to a page which has a lot of PDF links, none of which are displaying an icon.
I’ve tried adding your suggested .htaccess file to the mimetype-link-icons directory, but no difference.
    Any other suggestions?

    Hi Kyle,

Any updates on when this filter might be added?

    Thanks,

I just re-read my post and realized I sound terrible! Basically asking you to support me then saying I’ll ask for a refund if it doesn’t work out! Please ignore the last part of my post above. What I mean is, can I upgrade to pro and will you please assist me with this error ?? I won’t ask for a refund even if it doesn’t work out. I’m happy to pay for pro anyway.

    Hi Tim,
Thanks again for your reply, but I’m confused. Are you saying I need to step through the Soliloquy Lite plugin code to find out why it is being passed that file path rather than an image? I haven’t made any code changes to the plugin, and I’ve added the images to the slider in the normal way (I assume!), and without debugging switched on it appears that the slider is not having any trouble – i.e. the slider displays as I would expect it to.
To make sure this wasn’t a issue with my local (Windows) environment, I now have a copy of the website experiencing this error on a proper Linux web server, and it’s displaying a slightly different error:
NOTICE: /home/adroitcr/public_html/YorkePeninsulaCouncil/content/plugins/soliloquy-lite/includes/global/common.php:358 - getimagesize(): Read error!
If I upgrade to the Pro licence, would you be able to assist me with this error? My website requires a login to access, so I could provide you with that. I am more than happy to upgrade, it’s a great plugin, but if I upgrade and it turns out that my WordPress sub-directory set up is not compatible with the plugin would I be able to get a refund?
Thanks again, and sorry for being annoying :/

    Hi there,
Thanks for the reply – sorry I only just noticed it.
I have WordPress set up in a sub-directory, so my WordPress Address and Site Address are different:
    WordPress Address (URL): https://ypc.dev/wp
    Site Address (URL): https://ypc.dev
The slider does actually display the images. Yes the images exist at the locations. Using the Debug plugin, I get this error on the page with the slider:

WARNING: C:\xampp\htdocs\YorkePeninsulaCouncil\content\plugins\soliloquy-lite\includes\global\common.php:358 - getimagesize(C:\xampp\htdocs\YorkePeninsulaCouncil\wp/) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
    require('C:\xampp\htdocs\YorkePeninsulaCouncil\wp\wp-blog-header.php'), require_once('C:\xampp\htdocs\YorkePeninsulaCouncil\wp\wp-includes\template-loader.php'), include('C:\xampp\htdocs\YorkePeninsulaCouncil\content\themes\outreach-pro\front-page.php'), genesis, get_footer, locate_template, load_template, require_once('C:\xampp\htdocs\YorkePeninsulaCouncil\content\themes\genesis\footer.php'), do_action('genesis_before_footer'), call_user_func_array, outreach_home_add_discover_slider, soliloquy, do_shortcode, preg_replace_callback, do_shortcode_tag, call_user_func, Soliloquy_Shortcode_Lite->shortcode, Soliloquy_Shortcode_Lite->get_slide, Soliloquy_Shortcode_Lite->get_image_slide, Soliloquy_Shortcode_Lite->get_image_src, Soliloquy_Common_Lite->resize_image, Soliloquy_Common_Lite->get_image_info, getimagesize

Will my sub-directory set up be a problem with Soliloquy?
    Thanks,
    Donna

    Kyle,
You’re awesome. Thanks so much. I was looking through the code for the plugin in Github and noticed some new additions for nest level, and was quietly hoping that’s what you were working on. ?? ??
Looking forward to the next release …
    Donna
PS before I found your plugin I was starting to doubt my use of WordPress for this large site I’m working on, but the tree view makes all the difference.

    Hi kyle,
    Thanks for your reply.
To clarify, do you mean you would need to make changes to the plugin itself for me to be able to control menu sync depth, or do you mean there may be a way i could add custom code myself (to functions.php or something) to get that to work?

    Thread Starter donnahaynes

    (@donnahaynes)

Yes – changing line 21 fixes the problem, thanks. I’ll look out for that change too next time there’s an update to the plugin ??

    Hi there,
I just installed the latest version of your plugin, and I’m again getting the above issue.
The manual fix you helped me with above worked, the new update doesn’t.
    Any ideas?
Let me know what further information you need.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Great, that works. Thank you!
So… will this change be in the next update of the plugin?

I too would like to do this. I’ve spent literally days searching for a good media category plugin, and this is the only one that comes close to what I want – it’s great, especially on the front end. BUT it’s so cumbersome to actually add files to categories. I fear that if I hand the website over to the client with this system in place they just wouldn’t bother adding the files to categories. For example, I’m creating a new page and want to add 5 images to it. I add them to the media library (from “edit page”), create a gallery, add them to the page… and then have to go back into the media library and manually add each file to a category? Or am I just doing it wrong?
