In reply to: [Sensei LMS - Online Courses, Quizzes, & Learning] Support issueThanks for reaching out.

We have a small support team, and are working through a large backlog of incoming support requests. Please note that submitting multiple tickets will not speed up the process.- This reply was modified 1 year ago by Donna Peplinskie (a11n).
Hello,
We have not released a new version of Sensei within the last 2 weeks, so this likely has nothing to do with Sensei. My guess would be that some other update happened on your site that is causing the issue.
As a first step, I would suggest disabling all plugins except Sensei using?Health Check. Health Check is a tool that can be useful for debugging, though it requires an official default theme like?Twenty Seventeen. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins except Sensei and change the theme for you while you’re logged in to that session?without affecting normal visitors to your site.
Hi Scott,
Thanks for pointing that out. We’ve addressed the issue on our end, but it may take a day or two to be removed from Sensei Home, as those results are cached.
Thx.
Hello,
You can find this information in the
postmeta
table where themeta_key
is_lesson_course
. Additionally,post_id
is the lesson ID andmeta_value
is the course ID.Hope that helps.
Thanks for pointing that out. We’ll remove the opinionated CSS class and ship the change in the next release.
Hello,
I’ve just tested latest Astra on latest Sensei and am not able to reproduce this issue. The links are displaying as blue on the course overview as well as the lesson and quiz pages in Learning Mode. I suspect your site may have some custom CSS that is setting the links to white.
Hello,
This can occur when the Administration Email Address for both the old and the new site are the same. I would recommend changing this email address on one of the sites to a different one, running the Sensei exporter again, and then importing that content on the other site.
Alternatively, you can manually update the Teacher Email field in the Courses CSV file.
Thx.
Hello,
We would like to make the generic confirmation message a little more tailored:
So instead of “Congratulations on completing the course”
It would display “Congratulations on completing the XXYYZZ course” where XXYYZZ is the name of the course they have just completed
There isn’t a way to do this natively in Sensei, so it would require some custom development to implement.
Just a quick note to say that the fix for this was shipped in Sensei 4.20.1 on January 17th, 2024. Thanks so much for the report!

In reply to: [Sensei LMS Media Attachments] Can’t contact with supportHello Irene,
Apologies for the issues with the contact form. We were able to reproduce the problem, which was only occurring when trying to contact us using the Spanish version of the form, not the English one. We have fixed the issue and you should be able to submit the form now. Thx!
Hello, and thank you so much for your patience!
We were able to reliably reproduce this problem when submitting the form from https://senseilms.com/es/contact/ (i.e. Spanish language), but not when submitting from https://senseilms.com/contact/ (i.e. English language). Your video was very helpful to us, so thank you for recording it and enabling us to resolve this issue.
You should now be able to submit support tickets via the SenseiLMS.com site.

In reply to: [Book Review Block] Book Review Block FieldsHello,
I needed to ask, is there any?simple way to?remove some of the fields that the plugin has? For instance, I do not need the “Source” field but cannot find a way to do it.
If you disable the Show labels toggle in the block settings AND you leave the Source field empty, then it will not display on your website. However, it doesn’t work the same way if the Show labels toggle is enabled. I’ll see about addressing that in a future release.
Secondly, I use a class to provide the formatting (fonts etc) for the book review block. But I want that the labels remain in a different font/color and my class only applies to what I write into each field.
If you’d like to apply CSS to the values, then you can use the
.book-review-block__meta-item-value
CSS selector. Alternatively, if you’d like to style the label instead, you can use the.book-review-block__meta-item-label
selector.Hope that helps!

In reply to: [Book Review Block] Feature Request: Implement Kindle blockHi Courtney.
I looked into this a bit but couldn’t find a simple way to do it. I may revisit it again in a few months.
Hello,
For the time being, I’ve decided not to pursue further development on this plugin, aside from any necessary bug fixes.
The reason for this is that Divi has announced that version 5.0 will have some significant changes for developers that should make it much easier to write code that integrates with Divi (it’s actually quite difficult to write code for it presently). I would like to avoid spending a lot of time building new functionality, only to have to rewrite it when Divi 5.0 comes out.
Thanks for your understanding.
