Will these code highlighting plugin work along with WP-MarkupCollection

I plan to move completely to reStructuredText or Markdown for writing posts.

I should also note that enabling PHP reStructuredText systemwide converts all previous blog posts to a blob of text removing all visual and previously used markdown formatting.

It turns out it is a problem with WordPress database. Hostgator tech support changed mfold=f to mfold=t in database and everything seems to be fine.

Okay it has something to do with my subdomain. I created a new subdomain and fresh install of WordPress is as it is suppose to be. No Auto-hide.

I did clean and delete sub-domain folder. I should probably talk to Hostgator guys.

Okay just did a reinstall of WordPress 3.5.1 and even fresh install of 3.5.1 comes with dashboard sidebar hidden.

In my case it’s always hidden. I unhide it and it will quickly hide itself right away.

I could try to reinstall WordPress which should install 3.5.1. Thanks.

I am not using any plugin that would hide dashboard sidebar. It has been like this since I installed WordPress 3.5.1 on Hostgator.

I have following plugins installed.
Disqus Comment System
WordPress Importer
WP Super Cache
