Hey @ckadenge,

Thanks for getting back to me. I wasn’t able to find the root cause of the issue but the problem was resolved. Can’t actually say what caused it or what resolved it. Browser cookies, website caching, hosting server cache, plus all the aforementioned. The solution might’ve been permissions. In any case it started working again, thanks.

I removed theme information because: “I have then checked the issue by disabling the plugins other than Woocommerce plugin but the issue is not resolved. I have tried changing the theme but the cart is not working as excepted”

I’ve already went through the various troubleshooting methods. One of which is shown in the screenshot. Yes that does create an error free console but no messenger. Also, I deactivated and installed Messenger the conventional way, with code. <!— Messenger Chat Plugin Code —> in website footer. The console error returns. So, guessing it’s originating from FB Mess, itself. I’m also apologizing because I read this after submitting the ticket yesterday:

@dewice, @steveax, and @w.reidlinger, I found a temporary solution add these two functions to your Child Theme and either comment out or remove all reference to get_the_modified in whatever version. The code below is a functioning example.

So I’m guessing the answer is:

What I’m trying to achieve is the original question proposed:

The message notification sound (beep) plays after each reload of the website page. Would you please tell how to fix this issue.

I’m just an observer whom tested the plugin. Not a
Javascript pro or anything but looking into the code located
in
folder path:
bp-better-messages->assets->js->bp-messages.js

You’ll see:

I tried changing the body to a specific div related to the
individual page or even the message thread itself.
Maybe the plugin author could better clarify but it stopped
the alert when changing pages and kept it to messaging.

one class was for the page itself:

The other class which I settled on is found in the thread:

.appendTo('.messages-stack');

Side Note, it only gives front-end editing capabilities to your users.
Also you should look into adjusting user capabilities locating in admin settings.

Figured out a solution, I understand you’re busy so I did some digging and found that placing this piece of code in: includes -> functions.php will remove the URL showing in the sidebar. Hopefully you can take care of it in your next update.

The issue you’re having comes from your theme styles. the div below adds a padding-top

to all a-tags/links in your sidebar including the one you inquired about.

.widget li a {
    padding: 4px 0; THIS ONE
    display: inline-block;
    vertical-align: top;
}

Place this in your theme stylesheet and you should be straight.

div.rss_content small a{
  padding-top:0 !important;
}

Figured a solution.
edit navwalker.php located in wp-content->themes->your-theme-name->inc->navwalker.php

edit this line of code removing the not statement (!) before strpos

$atts['title'] = ( ! empty( $item->attr_title ) && !strpos($item->attr_title, '') ) ? $item->attr_title : $item->title;

Your new code

$atts['title'] = ( ! empty( $item->attr_title ) && strpos($item->attr_title, '') ) ? $item->attr_title : $item->title;

This should remove fontawesome tags showing in Nav title when hovered.

Showing only the Nav title of the page/category as the Developer Gods intended.

I’m getting the same error. My site passes all the whynopadlock test. and yes my uploads folder is on my https server
but for some reason, which I’ve been searching for days now, I can’t figure out why After getting an SSL Cert, when
I try to upload an image from my local computer, I first get:

1. “image.jpg0.3MBFailed”

2. the green padlock goes away

Inspect element: console Error:

3. Loading mixed (insecure) display content “https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/bpfb/tmp/undefined” on a secure page[Learn More] FIREFOX

How can this issue be resolved?

Solution :

adding a if else statement above code in wti_like_post.php

$my_cat_ids = array(<strong>ADD YOUR CATEGORY NUMBERS HERE</strong>);
						$category_ids = wp_get_post_categories( $post_id );
						$match_array = array_intersect( $my_cat_ids, $category_ids );
