In reply to: [Virtue] Desktop layout showing on tablet looks messySorry, the site owner asked me to put the holding page back up. I’ve temporarily removed it.
Essentially what happens is when viewed on tablet in landscape format the site still shows in its desktop format, but with the menu wrapped over 2 lines.
The page content (which is formatted into columns with Shortcodes Ultimate) gets pushed out of sequence.
When viewed on tablet in portrait format it automatically shows in tablet format. That’s great, the menu is in tablet format, and the columns behave as they should.
WHat I would like to do, is to adjust the size at which the site starts to display in tablet format. So, when the site is viewed on a tablet in lanscape, or even on a little old desktop monitor, it shows in tablet format.Forum: Plugins

Any help would be much appreciated.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] plugin not workingHi,
to enable the plugin, go to your dashboard, and in the left hand menu go settings>wp supercache. Then on the “easy” tab, check the option for “enable caching”.
That should be all you need.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Pages not cachingHi Ahmed, thanks for your reply and for the tutorial. I followed the instructions, but it is still not working correctly – even using advanced settings with MOD rewrite. The issue appears to be that the caching works inconsitently. I am checkign the site using toolbox.seositecheckup One moment it says the site is cached, the next that it is not…

In reply to: [Customizr] Icons gone from homepageHi Rocco,
the issue we had yesterday, was that the icons disapeared after making a change to the page. Today I have checked all the plugins, disabled and reenabled them, and the problem appears to be resolved.
Thanks for your help!Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] Settings missing from dashboardThanks! I was using a different management plugin and after disabling it, I can now access all the settings I need ??
Thanks for your help!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Meteor Slides] Settings missing from dashboardSo, I have come a bit further. It looks like since the update, admins no longer have permission to edit meteor slider, so I have updtated my profile to include this permission for all aspects of the plugin.
However, I cannot edit any of the slides. They all show in the slides list, but none have a check box, or edit option…
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!Hi Thanks for your response.
we are using a child theme. We were updating the main theme from Version: 1.9.7.9 to version 3.9
Here’s a link to the screenshot showing the major update message.
And this is where it links to.The extra widgets are configured in the child theme. Here’s the functions.php content:

We’ve created our own sidebar-home-widget-triple-two.php etc too, and all that works fine in the current theme version.
and here’s a screengrab of how it shows in the admin area. When we updated the main theme, the extra widgets we created stopped showing on the homepage, but they were still visible in the admin area.

In reply to: [Virtue] how to change the previous and next post linksWow! what a handy plugin! Thanks Kevin ??
It doesnt seem to work on the “To the top!” flag which shows on rollover of the arrow in the footer. Any ideas where to change that? Maybe it needs a different text domain?
