Having this problem too; meta description for the the homepage is a post title, and even the alt tag of a past article.

However, I’m just wondering whether there’s a simple code I could put into the logic space on the widget that’d get it to show on my 2 preferred pages.?

I’l use that code suggested if there’s no other easier option.

Looked and looked but still can’t find anything that incorporates two pages only.

I want a certain ad to appear on the

Homepage

and the

Post Page

and not my ‘Contact’, ‘Advertise’ or ‘About’ pages.

I’m not the worst at understanding coding in the sidebar etc but I’d much rather if there was an easy solution like
is_home() & is_single()

Possible?

or simply,

So, using captions aren’t SEO unfriendly as long as I insert a relevant keyword into the ‘ALT’ part?

See, they’re been bringing my SEO score down, but that must be the missing ALT info.

Then I went to the trouble of designing a near perfect copy on Photoshop but I’ve to make a new image and upload it everytime, for new articles.

So captions won’t effect my SEO score as long as I’ve the ALT thingy done.?

The alt text isn’t a caption and, providing you don’t use it to keyword-spam, it’s actually quite SE friendly.

Where would this ‘keyword spam’ be located if it was being used? ??

I see, so that means using some text about the image in the ALT part?
I never used to go near the image after it had been inserted, I always thought the captions were very SEO unfriendly?

Yeah, I agree, the sidebar is pretty bare, mainly because I don’t like too many advertisements to effect the readers.

There’s not much I can fill the sidebar with but I’ll come up with something.
