In reply to: [Simple Instagram] Popular feed, not my ownOkay, I got it to work. It looks like when you get the Simple Instagram plugin, there are several widgets that become available, including the popular one. I assumed there would just be one, but I had dragged the popular widget into my sidebar, not realizing there was more than one. I was only paying close attention to which plugin I downloaded!

In reply to: Navigation link and sidebarIf anyone might be helped by this in the future…
I was getting the difference between my pages, links, categories, etc. all confused with each other. By simply listing “pages” and sorting them under groups that I created with a great plug-in: NAVT ( download at https://atalayastudio.com/), I have solved my problem!

In reply to: Navigation link and sidebarI really don’t want to make a separate page for Gallery links that you have to navigate back to. Does anybody have any suggestions for my category/ link problem?

In reply to: Navigation link and sidebarThanks so much! Actually, I tried accessing my site today and everything that i wanted to be gone is suddenly gone! Strange since I don’t remember doing anything that actually worked…unless maybe there was some sort of delay when I was trying out different options?
Anyway, I have added new pages, but I still have the link category dilemma. I have added an “information” link category, so that I can include “about”, “home”, etc. and so it matches the fact that I have a “Galleries” link category. I am not able to add any new pages, links, categories or whatever under this link category. If I add a link and select the category “information”, it doesn’t do anything. So far all of my links are under “galleries”. Arrggghhh!!!

In reply to: edited classic’s index.php now “undefined function: get_header()…”Okay, I was able to replace most of the files by upgrading everything besides my content. It seemed to work! If anyone has a similar problem, maybe this is your solution.

In reply to: Can’t access anything when giving WP its own directoryOh man! I was really panicking! That did the trick! I edited the theme’s function.php file by adding:
update_option(‘siteurl’,’https://www.traciehowe.com’);
update_option(‘home’,’https://www.traciehowee.com’);Thank you so much, iridiax! ??
