To be more explicit, the “button” function does not work like the built-in link function. There’s no automatic way to choose or type in the link.
After you click the “button” button ?? you need to manually type in the URL to (whatever) page you want that button to link to, as the url= parameter of the shortcode.

As in the example I gave you before,
[mantra-button-light url=”https://www.yourwebsitehere.com/some-page-on-your-website/” target=”_blank”]Link to a page[/mantra-button-light]

To get the URL and paste it in the url= parameter, you navigate to the page you want to link to (or see it in the Pages list) and copy its URL/link.

You can change target=”_blank” to target=”_self” to make the button open the link in the same page.

Mantra does not come with any comment plugin. The default comment system is handled by WordPress.

Try switching to one of the Twenty-something themes for a couple of minutes and see if the same issue occurs. We first need to figure if this is theme or plugin/Wordpress related.

The button IS a link, so you cannot add a button over a link.
Just write your text as you want it to appear inside the button, select it and add a button over it. Then paste the link in the “url” attribute, like:

You don’t edit any php (or other files) via the dashboard, except when you actually go to one of the “Edit” sections (in Appearance or Plugins)… And even then you can’t edit WordPress files, just themes and plugins.
Wordpress settings are saved in the database.

Top and footer menus in Mantra don’t support submenus. They are just one row (for top level items only).

The whole point of the presentation page is to be different than the rest of the website.
If you absolutely want the sidebar, you can easily use a standard page, add a slider plugin and create the 4 columns using a 4 cells HTML table.

Force refresh your browser several times (Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+R) after changing images / css files.

If the rich editor fails to properly create these, you can just type them in.

What does the theme have to do with website URLs?
You’ll need to set up the (separate) mobile site version to have a mobile website URL.
Otherwise, Mantra’s “Mobile View” option turns the website responsive on mobile devices.

I know you said it worked and then stopped working, but I’m asking questions for all the steps in figuring this out ??

hnnoak, I see no image URLs in the source of your website. The SRCs are empty. Re-check your slider images URLs in the settings.
