Hi, I’m also looking for the same.

John, try verifying using yoast seo plugin .

As suggested by keesiemeijer, I removed all spaces and newlins before and after “<?php” and after require_once(ABSPATH . ‘wp-settings.php’);

Now, there is no errors at the top.

Solved the above by deactivating google-transliteration Plugin.

i successfully upgraded one of my installation to 3.0 and its working great..
But, the second installation i tried failed.
now i am getting this message

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare comment_form() (previously declared in /home/world8/public_html/rationalthoughts.org/wp-includes/comment-template.php:1484) in /home/world8/public_html/rationalthoughts.org/wp-content/plugins/google-transliteration/google_transliteration.php on line 87

how to recover from this?

I used the automatic upgrade plug in in both cases to upgrade.

I am facing exactly the same problems. Can anyone help us ?
